So, What If Disney Told You.....?

Private fireworks, I *love* Disney's fireworks. But for a truly magical wedding, in the wp and then head over to the magic kingdom for the reception--I know, I know WAY out of the 3 thousand dollar range. And at Christmas time :) Now I just have to wait for that wealthy prince charming to come my way ;)

I would ahve one heck of a wishes desert party. I'm not that crazy for Illuminations. Or perhaps a Fantasmic party. What I'd really wnat to do is the Mad Hatters Tea Party as a welcome/good bye paty. Heck even as a reception. It just looks so neat.

I would push for having the rehersal dinner at the Adventure's Club since that was the first thing my fiance and I decided we can't really afford.

I know this thread is about big things, and I certainly had my share of big things (Disney’s Pyrotechnics folks created a custom fireworks display that was set to music for my vow renewal). But don’t forget that little things are equally as important. Consider hiring a makeup artist and hair stylist for your wedding party. I did this and it gave me some of the sweetest memories: click here.

I am not a girly-girl kind of person (I wish I were but I’m not). I basically hired Disney Cosmetology so that my daughter and my niece would have the full-blown bridesmaid experience (it was their first time being in a wedding party). Watching the two of them getting their hair and makeup done was a lot of fun: click here and click here. And then watching them view themselves in the mirror after they were all dolled up truly brought tears to my eyes: click here. It was one of those priceless moments as a mom and as an aunt.

So for those of you who are looking to add a little something extra to your wedding/vow renewal, do consider hiring a professional makeup artist and hairstylist. Not only will you have a lot of fun during your cosmetology session, your wedding party will look dang good for your wedding photos. ;)

i know its not possible but i would have loved my ceremony to be held in the MK, in the rose garden and for my reception to be on the castle forecourt.....i can dream tho!!

I would use the money to upgrade my intimate wedding to a custom one. I really want to wear my dress to the Illuminations dessert party. Plus, I would probably have the reception at the American Adventure. We are getting married in Christmas and the decorations there are absolutely beautiful. Then again, when you wish upon a star....

Hmmm I think I would have used it to get a suite for the night before and night of the wedding, probably the Royal Asante suite at AKL!!

I'm with you LauraFoster! My DH2B said if we win the lotto, I can book it tomorrow! Keeping my fingers crossed...
