So...what do YOU wear to Disney?

Typically, it will be shorts (even thought I don't have the legs or it) and either a t-shirt or tank top from a previous trip. Shoes are usually a pair of real comfortable tennis shoes, nothing special. But I guess I am like Yogi and just an average bear.

tee shirts and shorts for day time; a light sweatshirt for evening for DD, DH, and me. I only bring tennis shoes(with white cotton anklet socks), no flip-flops for DD and me (we always get blisters from all the walking). DH can wear anything on his feet and never get a blister!

Shorts and a sleevless top for the day and then shorts and short sleeve shirt at night.

I always wear my gym shoes in the theme parks and then flip flops every where else.

Last year I wore slide gym shoes, and what a mistake, my feet were not nearly as comfortable.

I wear T-Shirts and shorts or capri pants. Most of the shorts I brought this summer were knit and my capri's were jeans and some kind of exercise pants. I also wear a dorky visor, I'm not a "hat" person, but I found this to be a must pack for WDW. I rotate between tennis shoes and sandals and if my feet are sore I may wear socks with my sandals. I wore sandals to AK because we planned to ride the Kali River Rapids, unfortunately I stubbed my toe badly waiting in line for the ride. My toenail was almost ripped off, my toe started to bleed. Now it is infected I'm on antibiotics and have a Drs appt to remove my toenail in a couple of weeks. Thankfully that was our second to last ride of the trip. I don't know if I'll wear sandals next time but rotating shoes is a must. I'm all about comfort at WDW, even at the expense of fashion. :earboy2:

Disney t-shirts, shorts, and tennis shoes for all!

Well considering my family always goes in August when it's 100 degrees and hot and sticky, we wear as little clothes as possible. For my mom, my sister and I, it's always shorts and a tank top. And for my dad and the boyfriends it's shorts and a lightweight t-shirt. Then of course everyone wears socks and sneakers because they're the most comfortable to walk around in. I always bring a pair of capris and a very lightweight jacket just in case, but of course I never need them.

My sister and I are planning on going in January next year, so it's going to be weird trying to figure out what to bring to wear!

Our family trips tend to be during the cooler weather, so the kids wear t-shirts (often bought on sale at the Disneystore before we go, and given to the kids the first day of the trip! That's one souvie down) and pants with zip-off legs, usually the gym-style. I've even found them for my daugher at Kohls. the kids love them because they're covered for cooler mornings and evenings, but can wear shorts in the middle of the day. I try to find pairs with pockets for their park stuff, too.
For me, I wear capris and mule-type sneakers and layer t-shirts with cotton sweaters or a jacket. I may wear a fleece vest on a really cool night. Hubby wears shorts, even in Jan., no matter how cold! He figures in Florida, you wear shorts.

This is an easy one. Shorts and a Disney T-shirt for everyone, unless it's cold, then pants and a Disney sweatshirt for everyone but me, I still will wear my shorts regardless. :earsboy:

Shorts and a tank or Disney themed tshirt and sneakers. I do bring a pair of jeans and one sweatshirt with me in case of a cool day or 2.

I dress like an Eddie Bauer catalog. That is pretty much how I shop. I could be in a planning video. Sort of a little dressier in a dorky way. I always figure I wouldn't be too out of place if we ended up somewhere a little nicer for dinner or drinks. Ah well, thats me. Khaki capris and polo shirt or button down top.

To me denim is too hot and rubs too much. I like thin cotton shorts and t-shirts with Teva Mush flip flops or Teva Pretty Rugged Leather Sandals. When I was there in May I had two pair of Crocs, but myTevas were more comfortable. I am taking my pink Croc Beach model though, because I am taking alot of pink outfits this trip. I'm also packing a sun visor.

My D-I-L is taking her pair of Croc beach and my other two pairs of Croc Nile Sandals as well as a pair of sneakers. She said she has also packed thin cotton shorts, camis, and t-shirts, all in Disney prints. She has a Princess sun visor I bought for her on my last trip to WDW that she says she is taking.

My son is packing a pair of Crocs in the beach model, a pair of Tevas sandals, and a pair of old Reebok sandals he's had for years. He's also packing cargo shorts and t-shirts and a baseball hat.

I also ordered us all a Miracool baseball style cap with a matching bandana from Heat Relief Depot. You get them wet, pat them dry, and the crystals in them are supposed to keep you cool all day. Mine and my D-I-L's are white and my son's is a khacki colored.

Shorts, tees or tanks, MUST wear walking sneakers to parks (anything else results in blisters) and my Disney Cruise Line jacket that can squash up into my backpack. Might need a sweatshirt in winter months along with the jacket.

I have 3 hiking skirts that I will be wearing to the world June 06. they are supplex nylon, light weight, knee length, quick drying and very comfy. Just got a pair of light weight Merrill hiking shoes, and hafve a few months to evaluate them prior to our trip. :woohoo:

ps hetero,married 20yrs

We go in May and its usually plenty warm then so I wear tanks and khaki shorts with socks and running shoes. My hair usually up in a pony tail. DH wears tees and khaki cargo shorts also with socks (usually coolmax) and running shoes. Often at night we eat somewhere a little nicer so we change. I wear capris and sleeveless shirts and sandals. DH wears nicer khaki shorts and a polo and deck shoes.

This will be my first trip with DS (2 years old) I have yet to decide how I'm dressing him! ;)

I wear t-shirts that have logos on them, usually logos that distract people from identifying with my face. For instance, most folks will see the shirt I'm wearing and say, "Hey, it's the Green Lantern!" or, "Look, Beast. That young man has a shirt with your sillouhette on it." or something like that.

I tried to hide behind a goatee, but not only did it look ugly compared to the characters that I was standing next to, I realized that the enemies I was hiding from only existed in my own head. :lmao:

I always wear my 4 inch stiletto Via Spiga pumps with a pair of bermuda shorts. DH is really tall, so I try hard to keep up. I also wear full make up and my best jewelry (need to look good for all of those photo ops).

I dress the rest of my family similar to how I would dress them for Easter. My four girls wear white linen knee length dresses with their church shoes. My 3 boys wear their matching white Polos and white shorts with their penny loafer shoes.

I never know when we'll have a great photo op that we can send out for a christmas card!!!

Looking you best at all times is very important. DH, of course, wears his golf attire. What else!!

O.K., so if you read my post this far, I am just kidding. :rotfl2: But, I have seen people similar to what I have described in the parks. I couldn't believe the lady in the stiletto heals with shorts right at park entry. She looked like she might have been from out of the country. I saw her several hours later...still trucking in her heels. Ouch!! And my kids can never stay clean in white. Can you say mickey bar all down the front.

We go in the summer so we dress for heat relief. DH in shorts and usually a golf shirt, sometimes a T, me in shorts and "girl-style" T's (thinner fabric with shorter sleeves than regular T's; much cooler!) DD in shorts and tanks or T's, and DS in shorts and some shirt that he's cut the sleeves out of.
We all switch our shoes around from athletic shoes to sport sandals or flip flops. This year DD and I will be in our Crocs for the first time so we'll see how that goes.

Suz72, I've seen those ladies you described and it hurts me to look at them. Of course, they may be like my friend who has worn heels everyday for so long that she literally can't wear anything else. Her achilles tendons have become less flexible due to the heel height and wearing flat shoes causes her great pain. Something I'll never have to worry about, since I don't think I even own any heels!

I wear cotton shirts and either denim shorts or denim skirts with the built in shorts (LOVE these!). The shirts are generally dressed up or more feminine type t-shirts...just a fancier collar or neckline. But comfy. Then I wear Clarks sandals. I bring three pair to rotate.

What kind of skirts are these? Do you know a brand or store? TIA.

I always wear a Universal Studios T-shirt, Tartan (plaid) shorts, and I wear a lanyard around my neck, with my room key and annual pass in it. I look rather like a Unescorted minor, on a plane ride.

Though some people describe me as a handsom man.

Cheers Larry.
