I said I hate it when some idiot won't turn his "music" down when he is pumping gas beside me.

My cousin was real, real, REAL smart in her college book learnin' too...but she had absolutely no common sense.

I would have pretended I couldn't hear him. Sorry but that's just me. I do turn it down at gas stations or other places where there are people. But an empty parking lot. Nope.

My DH actually had someone tell him to stop honking his horn "Can't you see I'm on the phone." She was parked at a traffic light. It had turned green but she was still on the phone and wasn't moving.

Aren't cell phones a wonderful invention.

I had a few thoughts while reading your post.

A. I always have my music too loud but never with the window down because I also sing along and I really don't want to share that with others, lol.

B. How the heck can you balance a checkbook with the radio blaring?

C. I get really ticked when there are plenty of empty spaces and someone parks right next to me. That alone would've probably made me move along.

D. Rather than ignoring him if I had the window down, I would've rolled it up. I think you were well within your rights to ignore him however.

If you get 50 for being a nice person, how many do you get for being someone who pulls up next to someone in an empty parking lot, with their window down, to talk on the phone? That could be just as annoying as music, imo.
