Usually we'll have a bbq on Memorial Day. But since we're leaving for Disney in 3 days, our big plans are to finish packing as much as possible!

Today-- I'm shopping for my "surprise" trip to Laguna in 4 days that may or may not include my first trip to Disneyland. Dh is surprising me----- but I seem to know about it somehow.

DD 12 is having a party. I had said she could have a band without checking with my DH first and he came home and said no way no band so I an sure to hear it from her when she gets up.

DH & I will go to the near-by Annual Art & Wind Festival. Lots of Craft booths and Kite-flying demos.

I'm always amazed at people who get together and have BBQs on Memorial Day, Independance Day & Labor Day. We host all the major holidays here and I'm not about to add any more!

Also bored, can't wait till 2:00 so I can get going.

I know I could do some cleaning up around here but not too motivated for that. I am so bored that I even called one of my friends that talks sooooo much on the phone that you have to have an hour when she calls ....guess she had plans as there was no answer

We're having a blah day. So far I have made a chocolate cake and a strawberry pie, grilled hot dogs and made some baked beans for lunch, taken DD16 and her 4 BFFs to the mall, and read part of a book. The weather is weird today--it's been rainy off and on all weekend and today it has been cool & gray, followed by sunny and hot, then back to drizzly. We were supposed to go to a cook-out down at the pool, but we opted to just grill our dogs here. Maybe we'll go down to the pool later, but I doubt it. The water is still pretty cold here in north Georgia.
