So what are you celebrating?

We are celebrating my wife's Mother's 75 birthday with a Disney cruise. It's a surprise for her. We've gathered most of her children and grandchildren and even great grandchildren!

We'll be sailing in August. Let's hope the hurricanes cooperate! :teeth:

We'll be celebrating Chris' birthday in the world in december.

We're planning a 7 night DCL cruise around the time of my 40th b-day, and we are finalizing our plans for our 5th Anniv celebration to include dinner at V&A.

It would be fun to celebrate your 30th birthday on a Disney cruise. :rolleyes1

I don't remember the last time I've seen so many WDW commercials play on TV. They've really been promoting this quite a bit. I like the ad campaign.

I like the hamsters in the class room scene.

Makes me smile every time. :)

Saddly we won't be celebrating at the world. My Bday was Jan (too close to New yrs to get the crowds out). My sons is in April = spring break madness. My daughters is August = too hot.

So what does that mean? Well we are going in November to celebrate early Thanksgiving, of course! :)

My April trip is happening because I just need another solo trip. Nothing to celebrate other than I have the means to go again.

Our upcoming October trip will have us celebrating Corey's birthday, she's turning 30-something, and it will be our 10th anniversary celebration....a little after the fact, but that's ok. I really don't want a trip in August, as I would melt.

Me and my GF are celebrating her first trip to Disney and her birthday, although it's technically a few days before we go.
Hopefully we will be celebrating awesome A Level results too :thumbsup2
I can't wait to take her to Disney, though I'm worried all my planning will scare her! :p

Makes me smile every time. :)

I love them and the chihuahua in the grocery store. :)

Our birthdays on 10 days apart so this year my birthday is during the week and his is on the weekend. We are going to SF for a very long weekend. We planned to do back-to-back cruises a couple of years ago to hit both our birthdays but we canceled that in favor of the WB Panama cruise. A much better choice!

The Magic will be headed to Europe for our birthdays next year but we decided on the Sept WB Transatlanic instead of April EB.

We're off to Vegas in 2 weeks!

I'm worried all my planning will scare her! :p

Just saying.....

Stay away from Timon-n-Pumba fan, or you will find yourself saying "Hey, it's 12:42, potty break! Look it says so right here on the Plan of the Day!"

:rotfl2:

I am not that scheduled! I swear.

But, even "I don't do mornings, especially on vacation"-Corey sees that if we get up and are there for rope drop, we get a lot more done and have more time to relax later in the day. I just have to make sure that she gets good coffee and a breakfast with some protien and then she's usually ready to go.

Seriously, who the heck plans potty breaks? You never plan a potty break, you just overload the "Plan of the Day" with extra time at certain parts of the day. Usually an extra 20 minutes or so 4 times a day at random times, usually near the times that I go potty, if I am at work does the trick. :thumbsup2

Try as I might, I can't get my hubby to 'celebrate' anythign in WDW this year..... phooey!

I guess next year!

Does it count as a birthday celebration if you're going 2 months after the birthday takes place? :rolleyes1

If going 2 months after an anniversary counts, as it is going to for me later this year, then I say 2 months before counts for you too! :thumbsup2

As for the free perks, yes they are asking for ID.

But if you want to celebrate something, no, it does not have to be on the same exact date!

Get the buttons, have the dinners, and CELEBRATE!

Your at Disney World / Land! :cool1:

All of you "it's too hot in August" pansies disappoint me. :sad2: This will be our 4th August in a row and we aren't dead yet.
Besides, in August you are so dehydrated there is no NEED for potty breaks. Much easier to tour without ever having to stop!
