We tried for a 2BR at VWL (and AKL and BCV) for early November, for four nights, and couldn't get it at the seven month point.

I actually think there's a better shot for actual Christmas week right at 7 months than there is late Nov/early December. A 2-bedroom Christmas week is a LOT of points.

It never hurts to try - especially if you are willing to waitlist and have a back up reservation at your home resort.

If we keep scaring everyone, maybe lots of members won't even try and then you will be pleasantly surprised, LOL.

I don't think your chances are very good, either, but you really never know - I'm sure there have been some lucky members who stayed at VWL that week and didn't own there. Good luck!

Well I am just thinking down the road. I would be happy to stay there another time too....when maybe it is 100 degrees outside. LOL

You just never know. I called over a week ago and picked up a one bedroom for Dec 23-28 at VWL!! I am not sure about a two bedroom-they may go a little faster! Good luck!
