Yep...

But I think it's always tough for Disney fans to accept that themepark renovations or construction is not a high priority for TWDC.

For many of us... The parks are our true link... It's what makes it feel real.

We think the parks are the highest
Priority and for the fat cat board and stockholders... It's nothing of the sort.

They announced ahead of time that they canceled the Parks and Resorts presentation. Apparently they decided they had nothing interesting that they could announce, and other things, if they are in fact in the works, could not yet be announced.

We've been "expecting" announcements all year, but getting nothing.

There were some teasers for Star Wars and Avatar but that was it.

I'm thinking that anything Avatar or Star Wars related can't be talked about until plans firm up.

I love Disney but Universal has been taking them to school the last 4-5 years as far as improvements and new additions. I just hope this is the calm before the storm...trooper that is... Disney needs to take Star Wars and blow Harry Potter out of the water.

Only if we all agree to increase our already huge spending on it...which is the real b!tch of it...

Though I have to say that Disney's buy and plans are slowly starting to crack on the ice that formed over Star Wars
Products after I was a very devoted follower.

Legos for the son, Halloween this year... It is having an effect.

Heck...the lego ewok village set that comes out next month is gonna be purchase for ME...not the kid...and that's no chimp change.

Let's not forget that the Disney Parks includes Disneyland, which had a giant refurb that cost a billion dollars. I know it's not much consolation for us that go to WDW, but it was a huge improvement.

Can not wait for the Star Wars themed area.

We are massive Star Wars fans and I'm really hoping that the whole Marvel thing will get done too.

If they actually do release something along the lines of Stark Future world, then oh my god, I will pee my pants.

Family have preferred universal the last time we went because of the Harry Potter land, they really do need to do something to compete with that

Disney won't (can't) do anything Marvel related in the Florida Parks due to the existing agreement with Universal.

We know...but wdw is 5 times the size with 3 times the visitors and perpetually pumping the customers for more cash to be used in other places...
