Would it be too soon to go back? Were just back from our first trip last week but really want to go again.

Checked out feb and SantaFe is coming in at under £300 for the school hols 14th-18th feb !!! wow

Do you think we should wait? Whats the weather at this time and is it busy? Its during the week.

We always go in Feb half term - yearly since 2004. It is cold then - you need to be well prepared in terms of layers of clothes. The Park hours are quite short - shuts at 7 or 8 in the evening.
It is the quietest of the school holidays though - especially if half terms are split across the country. We are on half term the following week to you - w/c 21 Feb so your week could be very quiet.

We looked at going Mon-Thurs that week too, this time with the kids, we're heading off in 10 days for an adult trip. Usually I won't visit the same place twice in a year but this time I may make an exception, it's just so cheap :rotfl:

My first ever trip to DLP was in a Feb half term - it did get busy in Fantasyland, but it wasn't so busy that it put us off returning to The Magic again and again :goodvibes. I don't think its too soon between trips either (can that be possible????). We're going next month, and then again in March next year.

Oh your persuading me:rotfl: just need to talk hubby round now

I went prepared for rain last trip so was nicely surprised with glorias sunshine:banana:

Is it frosty cold, like here? Or is it quite rainy?

Well it was kind of both when we were there - chilly in the mornings, a little drizzly, but also sunny. In Winter months at DLP, I always pack waterproofs and layers, covers all eventualities ;).

I was trying to decide between Feb half term or May half term.

Is Feb half term definitely quieter than May half term?

The reason I ask is, i know that the French schools are off on the 2 weeks in which the UK Feb half terms fall, which make me think May is best, but if Feb is def quieter than that'd be best.

So is Feb definitely quieter than May half term?:confused3

Yes, definitely - because more people go away on holiday in May half-term (probably because its warmer) than Feb.

EXcellent- good to know. Thank you :thumbsup2
DH wants May, I want Feb as it's quieter, so who knows when we'll go!

Go for it!!! our first trip was Feb this year, 10th -15th at Santa Fe, we got a fab deal with meal vouchers, i think it was around 1200 quid for 3 adults and 4 kids on eurostar. It was FREEZING! snow, rain, wind, sunshine,a bit of everything really! But the bonuses were no queues, Getting a good seat in the Theatres etc, and a good veiw of Parades. We have just booked again for feb (6th -10th)again at the Santa Fe via Eurostar, same travellers but no meal plan and one child is now an adult (12) and got it for 1100 quid so definatley a good time to go in regards of price and queues etc. Be warned though, it was very very cold,so cold infact i cried the first hour we arrived and said i was gonna just sit in the hotel room for the holiday! Luckily enough i was persueded to give it a chance, So I put carrier bags on over my socks as my UGG's couldn't handle the snow!

I want to!! But DH doesn't fancy driving through France in the snow and ice, plus DS2 will only be 17 months, so will be quite little for such cold days.

All I can think of is: NO QUEUES!!!
