We are going to have to cancel our trip in Sept for free dining. We were going to stay at BC for 10 days. Our oldest DD needs extensive dental work done right away. I Know that we are blessed to have ever been to WDW , but I was really excited about this trip since we have not been as a whole family in almost 3 years, and my younger two were really small then.(Jan 07 trip was with oldest DD only). There are much worse disappointments in life, but I guess I am human. I feel so sad right now. Well, there will be a 10 day package opening up at BC today if anyone is interested. Also, I have posted my ADRs on the restaurant board. Includes breakfast at CRT.:sad1:

So sorry to hear about your unfortunate change of plans :sad1: We have had to cancel 2x before b/c of $$, so I know how dissappointing it is.

Here's some pixie dust in the hopes that you can get back to WDW "real soon" (remember Mickey Mouse Club?) pixiedust:

Oooooh. I'm so sorry to hear that. :sad1: I hope you're able to make another trip (or at least begin to plan one) real soon!

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know that in the grand scheme of things it seems like a silly thing to be so upset about, but I get the same way, and I can't help it. Hopefully you'll be able to plan another trip not too far in the future.

Sorry that you have to change your plans. I have had to cancel plans (both free dining :sad2: ) 2 years in a row due to work changes. The first was September 2006 free dining, bumped it back to December 2006. We had to pay for the dining (so it really increased the cost of our 8 night trip) but it had the added benefit of the holiday events. Second time was for the September 2007 free dining (we were to be booking last December, before they announced free dining for everyone, with the "book while you are still here" promo). Now we are only able to go for a weekend trip (no dining :sad1: ), and will be postponing our normal trip until at least next February. It is a let down, especially if you have done a lot of planning, but you will be back, and even if now it seems like a huge amount of time, it always seems to fly by!!!

I'm sorry you had a disappointing change of plans. I understand that yes, in the grand scheme of things this is not a major catastrophy, but sad nonetheless. I've had to cancel plans for budgetary reasons before, and it hurts.

Hopefully you can plan a new trip for next year. There are plenty of people who have counters showing their trip a year away. Hope things work out. :wizard:
