I live in NY...had booked to go see my sis and brother in law in Charlotte, NC, tomm flying out of westchester airport..well guess what?? EVERY flight is cancelled!!!! It was supposed to be a surprise for my sisters birthday.

Oh well...I'm so upset...I havent seen her in six months.

I so know how you feel. We are supposed to fly to Boston tomorrow for my mom's 60th (also a surprise) and as of right now I think our chances are about 50/50. Any chance of going out of a different airport?

UGH. We are trying...on hold with airline right now.
It seems as though they already rebooked the wednesday people, but the thursday people are SOL!!! ( I am a thursday person!)

my sister in law flew down here for dd's bday last week...she was supposed to leave last sunday. Well all flights got cancelled into d.c. so now she's supposed to leave on friday, but there's supposed to be snow in atlanta (where she's flying out of).

We fly out of Westchester a lot. Try going out of one of the NYC airports...my tendency is to think that they are more prepared to handle "weather" than the small Westchester airport.

I'm currently in RI for work but primarily live in NY. My mom said Westchester didn't even get hit that bad! She was able to safely drive home on 84 today at 3 p.m.

That stinks--we preemptively cancelled DH's flight trip home this morning. We had no way of knowing if it would take and if it had been cancelled, the earlist possibilty was Friday afternoon if he were lucky. And the timing didn't work out. And then if it wasn't, at the time-we werne't sure when he'd be able to dig himself out or if the road out of his neighborhood would be plowed in time.

Kids haven't seen their daddy in weeks-but he at least has a planned trip next weekend.

Can you reschedule yoru flight for next weekend?
