I cancelled my Disney trip due to being pregnant and now I didn't need to cancel it at all. I am more depressed than anything I guess. If you are wondering what I am talking about, I lost the baby earlier this week. We are going to go in December (hopefully) instead.

I am sorry to hear this..hope all is well for you and your family..

i am soo sorry for you . I too had a miscarriage , and it was horrible, and believe me you do need something to look forward to, good luck planning your next trip

Oh, I'm so sorry. I've been through it, too, and it's just so hard. God bless you.

i am sorry you lost the baby, but the good thing is anything that is cancelled can be re booked.

I am SO sorry. How sad for you. Remember, where a seed took root, a flower CAN grow, and though you will ALWAYS treasure this baby, you will honor it's memory with brothers and sisters in the future.

Very sorry for your loss.

My wife lost her first pregnancy at 10 weeks. She had to have a D & E. The anaesthesiologist told us he was in the same exact O.R. with his wife a little over one year earlier for the exact same reason, and now they had a healthy baby boy. We conceived our son one month later. No problems. We have a beautiful 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter, both happy and healthy and driving us bonkers. We were scared to be happy when we found out she was pregnant again so soon (even though that's exactly what we wanted!!!), but thankfully everything went well.

I hope you grieve quickly and are able to move on at your own pace. Truthfully, this far away from it, I don't even remember it except when I read something like your post (same for my wife, by the way). And we waited 9 years before trying to have kids, to get our careers on track and to settle down in one city.

Sorry for your loss. Wishes :wizard: to you for peace and a magical trip in December.

I'm so sorry for your loss and that you had to cancel WDW. But, I had several miscarriages myself, and was told that I was just not going to be able to get pregnant without some scientific intervention!! So, we decided to get another dog, since I already had two kids from a previous marriage. And what happened??? Well, those were in '91 and '92.....I now have a 12 y/o Disney fanatic to travel with. (no medical help, just me and dh!!!). So, hang in there...you'll be complaining that your child wants to ride Dumbo yet again, isn't 8 times enough??!!!! Best of luck to you and your dh....have a good time planning your Dec trip...I'm going down then for a solo trip.

I am so sorry for your loss. Peace & love to you.

I had the same loss and you'd be surprised at how many others have gone through the same thing. :grouphug:

What a terrible thing to go thru....I'm so sorry for you and your husband.

You definitley need your trip to Disney...keep planning! (the reason I say that is I lost my dad suddenly less than a year ago and had lost my desire to go to the world. We are DVC members and I did end up going in October and it was good for all of us)

I am so sorry for your loss I too have been ther, Hopefully you can heal and enjoy WDW in December!!!! Lots of Pixie Dust your way!!! :wizard:

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've also had a miscarriage. It shakes you to the very core. We had already been blessed with a beautiful DD, but really wondered if we'd ever have another child. My DS was conceived 4 months later, and is now almost 4-1/2 years old. Happy & healthy.

Even though you're frustrated that you postponed your trip, it'll be good to have something to plan & look forward to. It helps keep your mind busy. I redecorated half of my house after my miscarriage -- I just HAD to have something to do!

My prayers & thoughts are with you,
Christy

Very sorry for your loss. It will rock your world, one way or another. Planning a vacation to WDW helped me when the one year loss of a 21 week pregnancy was approaching. On that night, my DH and I went and sat in front of Cinderellas castle, and said all of the "what if's" gave him kisses from our hearts, and hugged. We have pictures from that night, and put it in his baby book. Very special memory for both of us. :lovestruc

Sorry to hear about your loss. Maybe you will be lucky and get to take a little one with you in December. :goodvibes
