Well my car has been damaged twice in the past month, the first time in a doctor's surgery car park where someone drove up the side of it. This morning I noticed that someone has badly scratched the passenger side!:sad1:

Even more upsetting is that on neither occasion did someone take responsibility for the damage.

Now I have to find the money for repairs OOP as I will lose my no claims, and its money I should be putting aside for WDW.

I have decided to invest in a car security camera as I'm sad to say that it seems nobody nowadays will actually be honest and admit they have done damage.

Sorry I just needed a vent.

 So sorry to hear about your car, it's so frustrating when this happens. Only this morning we were in Coventry and we saw an old woman doing a 3 point turn, just to move her car 3 spaces up the road and she hit a car as she looked a bit panicked at us waiting for her to move

When we passed the hit car on our way back we left a message on the windscreen with a description of the car and registration number, I just hope she had already told the owner before we left the message

I hope your car doesn't cost too much to repair

Hope it doesn't cost too much to repair:hug:

Most annoying.

Wish there were more people like you Mandy :goodvibes

That is really annoying, I know how you feel. This morning we noticed a huge black line down the side of our car. Someone had obviously done the same thing.

It is frustrating when people don't take responsibility for their actions.
I had a friend who returned to their car once to find it damaged and a note on the windscreen that read
"sorry about the damage - but I am only leaving this note as someone is watching me and I want them to think I am leaving you my details"
Talk about rubbing salt in the wounds.
Hope that it is not an expensive fix and that it doens't make too much of a dent in your Florida fund.

Oh so sorry :sad2:
Some people just have no decency or morals.

Terrible! :( I don't know how some people can do this sort of thing!

Hope you get your car repaired and it doesn't cost too much in the long run. So frustrating though, as like you said, your money could have been used elsewhere.

:hug::hug:

Thanks guys. I really just needed to have a rant. Just so annoyed as it has happened twice in a month - talk about bad luck! I would never damage someone's car and leave - mainly as I know what its like when it happens to me! Glad to hear there are people out there that would do the same - I was starting to lose faith!:littleangel:

I couldn't just drive off, although I know plenty of people would do just that. My MIL once scraped a brand new Audi in Tesco's car park - she left her name and address on the windscreen :goodvibes she waited and waited, preparing herself for a hefty bill but no-one has ever contacted her.:confused3 Sorry to hear about your car, Bronny.

You know what really gets me angry? People who dump their trolleys at Tesco, rather than walking 20 yards to park them in their 'bays'. I have numerous scratches on my car where trolleys have scraped my car.

It's a real pain when that happens - someone badly damaged the door of our old car in a car park once and the same thing - no note, nothing! Hope it doesn't cost too much to fix
