So Upset -- Le Cellier

We were able to FINALLY get reservations at Le Cellier this past March (first time in 5 years). I can honestly say IMHO that the steak I had there was the BEST I have EVER eaten. It was so good I refused to put any type of sauce on it:worship:

Now, everyone has their own tastes. I would also tell you that the food at the Yahtsman Steakhouse is also second to none. We were able to get reservations for 10 this November but called at exactly the 180 day mark (at 9:00 am). Keep checking back and see if anything opens up. Also keep checking on-line, we have had good luck their recently as well.

Our steak at Le Cellier was good, but we had better ones at Narcoosies and Jiko. DH the beefeater/experienced chef ranks them:

Good Le Cellier
Better Narcoosies
Best Jiko

I agree, however for 1 credit its a great place :thumbsup2

I have a lunch reservation for Tues 12-14 at 11:30 that I am going to be cancelling. The reservation is for 5 people. If you pm me we can coordinate when I cancel it.

That would be DH. He likes his steak with just a little s&p and that's it. If it's not that great, you'll see him reaching for the A-1, but other than that, the man just loves a great slab of beef. Mooooooo.

Told him about your opinion and he said that's the person I would listen to. LOL

Keep trying!!! I was trying for a different reservation, I've been trying for weeks now. Today I just randomly did a search for a available reservations because I needed to find something to take the place of what I wanted and what do you know? The one I wanted appeared--at the exact time I wanted it!

it wont let me pm you back until I have 10 posts. This will be my 10th so I will try again.

I tried at the 180 day mark, but nothing. Tried computer and calling. Continued trying and finally got a dinner reservation for 9:15 on 12/11. I know it's late, but my kids are night owls and we've always wanted to try there. Don't give up!:santa:

:thumbsup2 sounds like my kind of eater!

I def. recommend checking back daily for both lunch and dinner reservations, even as close as a few days out from the trip.

I've only been to Disney 3 times in my life (the first two being a little kid), and this is the first time I'm heading down and planning on making a bunch of table service dining reservations.

I'd been able to book several places including the Brown Derby, Chefs de France, etc, but was having no luck with Le Cellier.

Having read everyone's rave reviews and never having eaten there, this was bothering me, so I became obsessed with trying to land a reservation. I'd checked daily the last 2 weeks with no luck (our trip is next week). Sure enough, my girlfriend brings it up yesterday, decides she'll try her luck, and lands reservations that opened up last minute on her first try. Guess I just needed a woman's touch? :confused3
