So undecided

We almost always travel in the very off-season. Going in early June this year, when I know it will be more crowded than we are used to. I really have to change my mind-set that we will not be able to see and do as much as we usually do. It will be me, dh, and two kids ages 5 and 1 1/2.

Here's where I'm undecided. We've got two days to go to parks...it will be a Monday and Wednesday.

EMH are as follows: Monday - early EMH at Epcot
Wednesday - late EMH at MK

One day we want a full day at MK. The other a morning at Epcot and afternoon at MGM. We've been many times, and will go back in the future, and I'm not all too concerned about kids being disappointed by doing MK first...knowing them (especially the 5 year old), they will have just as much fun at Epcot and MGM (with Crush at Epcot, and Playhouse Disney and Muppets at MGM).

But, my dilemma. I was planning to do MK on Monday, and the others on Wednesday to avoid the EMH days (we will not be up and moving early enough to take advantage of Epcot early entry, nor can the kids stay up late enough at MK). But, I keep reading about Monday being so crowded at MK, and also very crowded on late EMH days. We obviously have park hopper passes.

What would you do if this was you???

I'm not a Disney expert, but throught my planning I read touringplans.com which says Monday is a good MK day. But then again I think others have said Monday was bad for MK.

Where are you finding June EMH days anyhow?

I found the EMH days somewhere on the DIS website...someone had posted a link which I don't have right now. Sorry!

They appear to be the exact same as the "set" schedule that Disney had announced when they instituted these new hours.

Does anyone else have any opinions on my park days? Pleeeeeasssee????? :teeth:

I have alwys assumed that Mondays are busy MK days. BUt I think given the time of year you will be visiting you will be fine visiting either day. YOu will be there ahead of many because schools won't be out (depending on exact dates in June). We went the second week of June in 2002 and had a great time. Crowds were not exactly light, but certainly manageable. One consieration for June is the heat. Our June trip was by far the hottest and most humid trip we have taken (never been July-October). The mid-day pool break became a welcome part of our daily routine.
