We are heading down in 3 weeks and still no hotel booked - although there are still available options - i just cant decide!

Here are our options:

CSR ($179/night - AAA)
Dolphin ($179/night - AAA/Priceline [non bidding])
Hilton WDWR in DTD ($129/AAA)

We are only there for 2 days and have a few concerns
1. do any of the above offer a late check out?
2. after we check out can we still go to the pool, or walk around the resort? (our flight isn't until 9pm)
3. transportation to the park? or should we drive? (we will have a car anyway)

Saturday will be spend in MK and Epcot
Sunday we wanted to have some time in the sun and then head to DTD for some souvenir shopping
 help!!! TIA:yay:

If it were me, I would book at stay at the CSR. We've never stayed at any of the resorts you have listed but I have looked at all the information on the CSR and it looks fabulous.

I don't think that any of the resorts have a late check out but I am almost positive they will hold your luggage for you until your departure time.

We checked out of the CBR last year at 10:00 a.m. and hung around the resort until 1:00 p.m. or so. We just ate lunch, our son did the limbo contest, bought last minute souveniers and walked around a bit.

I would do any of them personally! The lure to be close to Epcot at the Dolphin would probably win out though.

I don't know about late check-out, it's probably on the hotel's website.

I would book soon though! Have a great trip.

:)

I know they are all perfect really - there's so many "pros" to choose from - i'm going to force myself to book one by 5pm tonight

I would def choose the Dolphin:thumbsup2 It's a great deal for that price and has the most transportation options. You will love the whole Epcot?Boardwalk resort area and the Dolphin's grotto pool is wonderful.

I believe you can have bell services store your luggage after check-out and enjoy the resort's amenities until you leave. Not sure about late check out though.

If you have a car, then you don't need Magical Express - no advantage to CSR there. My choice would be Dolphin. Its a hotel with upscale amenities. Plus you are right by Epcot and can use the car or monorail to MK (from Epcot). But check parking/resort fees first.

I'm probably going to be taking my younger son down for three nights over Easter, and I'm trying to decide where we'll stay as well. :)

I'm leaning toward CSR mainly because I don't want to rent a car, so we need the ME.

$179 for the Dolphin is a great deal. My husband and I went alone in October and stayed at the Swan and loved it. If it's an adult trip, then I would recommend the Dolphin. You have so many dining options being next door to BW and Y&BC. Then of course there is Epcot right there. Oh, the heavenly beds at the Swan are da bomb. :cloud9:

I know The Swan has a fitness spa near the pool where you could probably take a shower before your flight I would think. I just received an e-mail about some sort of $10(?) charge for phone use and fitness room, etc. I don't have it here at the office and I don't know when it takes effect. Also, you do have to pay for parking at the Swolphin.

While I love CSR, I would not pay that much to stay there.

I would pick on of the other two.

Stayed at Hilton and it was great for the DTD and pool thing. We were HH so had concierge lounge which was a perk. Downside if you drive to park you have to pay parking fee so that adds to the rate.

But Dolphin is of interest to me...........since only a couple nights, I would probably pay the extra for there depending on the parking issue/resort fees as CoolPool says.

Parking at the Dolphin is only $9 +tax per day - The Hilton is $8 - we are ok with either - I think I'm starting to lean towards the Dolphin
