So uh..We spent the night IN disneyland..DREAM SUITE!

LOL from what the CM told me when I asked they are very specific with the instructions they receive. Maybe she just said that to make it an easy answer but that's what she said.

I was thinking about the Dream Suite the other day. I think they should continue to give it away daily to a park guest. I think that would be really neat. Even with the YOAMD over it would still be something a lot of people would really enjoy!

Well, it didn't snow for us on Wednesday but we still didn't go to DLR because of how rainy it was. I didn't really want to drive an hour in that kind of rain on the freeways with all the crazy drivers out there. So no dream suite for me. Oh well.

Oh and we did get some snow last night but only maybe an inch and it's mostly melted away now. I walked out to my car this morning to go run some errands and i had no clue how to get snow off the windshield. I'm sure there's some handy little device people get when they live in snowy areas but it doesn't snow enough here to get stuff like that. DH got out a plastic spatula and used that! Thankfully no snow on our road. Our little town goes steadily up in elevation so people living up higher than we do got a lot more snow but I was going down the hill to the freeway so didn't have to try to drive in it. The mountains right near my house look beautiful!

LMAO yes, there is a handy little thing, called an ice scraper, some are even heated so the ice scrapes better. LOL I don't have one myself, I just use a credit card! ROFL!

Except that it's snowing in Vegas right now.....LOL

Em I do know that it is totally random, there is a computer that tells the Dream Team where to go and when to hand out prizes so yes, it was very likely something just like that. Or something like "Peter Pan at 10:15 am pick the first little girl wearing a red jacket". It's very specific for the big prizes.

Man I would LOVE to know what it was then! Her pink mouse ears? ;)

I remember my parents using an ice scraper. Not that it ever snows in Santa Rosa but it would be icy a lot in the winter. My windshield actually wasn't icy it just had snow piled on it so I needed some sort of windshield shovel! :lmao:

oh also, it has snowed SO MUCH here. I fell down shoveling. *cry*

Oh no! Hope you are okay! I would have no clue about shoveling snow so glad I don't have to try to attempt it. I would probably be on the ground too! :rotfl:

LOL I'm okay, but my ankle was really swollen and my knee kept giving out all day.

Guess that's what I get for being an idiot and shoveling in chunky shoes.

And after I finished, it dropped another 4 inches. BAH.

No, it doesn't really snow here either but my windows do ice over a lot in the winter. I really should get a scraper.....lol you can use a broom if it's just snow and no ice. Growing up in Oregon we had a small hand broom we kept in the car/truck for just that reason. :)

Ya, shoveling snow while it's still snowing is about as effective as....well, shoveling snow while it's still snowing......LOL :) I hope you are feeling better today!!!

I noticed that, in the pictures, your DD was wearing the pink mouse ears and a nice disney sweatshirt so maybe that was it. When we were there a few weeks ago I noticed that there was a group of women walking by, all wearing the same cute wintery sweater. Then when we saw part of the parade, it was those same women in the car with one of them being the grand marshall. So maybe they look for people wearing a certain type of clothing?

Ouch! That doesn't sound too good if your ankle was swollen. Hopefully it's better now. That stinks that more snow fell after all that work!

Hmmm....a broom, huh? I'll have to remember that for next year. I think we've already had our snow for the year (usually it's just once a year, maybe twice). Thanks for the tips on what to do with snow on my car. It happens so rarely that I forget what i have done in the past and I think "now, what do i do again?" Actually, I love that I live where it does snow occasionally but nothing major so we can have fun but not have all the headaches. The trade off for living here is that it is so HOT for about 75% of the year (but thankfully, not as hot as Arizona).

No problem....I lived in the snow for so long that it's pretty much ingrained what to do. LOL Just get yourself one of the little hand brooms and there ya go. My Mom had the corn broom style, it worked great!! Snow is very light so it just brushes away, unless it's iced over. :)

Well we bought the sweatshirts FOR the parade..She was just in her pink t shirt and pink mouse ears and jeans and her hair in low piggies. In fact as I got her ready that morning I was like "wow, we're apparently going for 'girl next door' today" LOL

Well, there goes that theory then.
