So today I finnally got my permit!!

So today I got my permit but it seriously took forever lol
We waited for 5 hours to get it and when we finnally got up there it only took us 10 minutes
I didn't have to take the test since I'm starting Drivers Ed. here on 6/22
One of the other girls on my dance team(The only other Freshman) got her permit today also
But she had to take the test since she's not taking it till August...
So how long did it take you to get your permit also did you have to take a test

We have to take the test, no matter what.
I failed it the first time, just the rules one, the signs I aced.
It took me like what? 15 minutes to write the test?
Anyhoo, full license is under a month away now!

I'm 14 and i just got my permit a few weeks ago. I live in Iowa, and we have to take the test no matter waht! I failed the first two times. but i finally passed! 3 months exactly after my birthday!!

I took both segments of my drivers training, so I took the test then. I've had my full license for about a week and 3 days. Have fun driving and be safe =].

I'm the out of almost all my friends to get their liscense
Here you have to be 15 1/2 unless your taking Drivers Ed.
If your 15 and taking Drivers Ed. You can get your permit with out taking the test which is what I'm doing since I'm only 15
I went for my first drive today and my dad said I did way better than my brother did on his first drive

It was probably a 45 minute wait and then 30 minutes to process and take the test. Here, you must be 16 to get your permit and you must take drivers ed. Everyone takes the test. I got my license in January, and can start driving other people 3 weeks from now!

omg it took FOREVER to get mine
every time i tried to go to the DMV, it was closed
when i finally would get there, i was missing something
at first it was a birth certificate, which was in california with my mom
[i was living with my cousins in oregon]
anyways so i got the birth certificate and then they said i needed my social security card, also in california
i got that and then they said they needed my moms signature
um...we werent gonna ship her to oregon so my aunt just pretended to be my mom lol which my mom was fine with so i finally got it

i was almost 16 when i got it. im now 17 1/2 and still no license! haha

I got my permit at 15 and a half. Here in Ohio you have to be 15 and a half and you need to take the test. During driving school I had to take another test to pass driving school. Then I took my license test and failed the first time. I passed the second time. I hate manuverability. Now I have had my license for over a year and I am almost 17 and a half.

I waited forever. I just got my permit in March and I'm almost 19
Anyways I'm taking driving lessons, and my roadtest is sometime next month.
