So this is what mid-life crisis feels like? Dec 2011 PTR

Good luck with the move! Moving is insane. Last time I did (moved from VA to TX) I swore I would never move ever again! :lmao:

And I hear ya on not wishing away the rest of 2011. But can we wish away from now until June 1? So we can finally get our park hours!! :rolleyes1

ABSOLUTELY we can wish away for June 1st! I'm anxious to see the official hours, too! And make ADR's... and pine away for WDW! :cloud9:

I promise, no more house talk except to let you all know we are moved and happily in the new home! Feel like all I've done is vent on here lately! :rolleyes1 So sorry about that, friends!!

I need you to teach me how to do multiple quote replies! Please!! :goodvibes

First, it is your PTR... put what you want. Even if it is ALL rants and vents...

Second, to do multiple quotes... the easiest is if you are quoting separate posts. Next to the "quote" button on the bottom of a post is a "" button/tab. Just click that and it will highlight it. The next post you want to respond to... do the same until you are ready to comment. Then just hit "quote" It will automatically put them all into one post. If you are separating out a single post... what I do is hit "quote" then inside the reply copy the first part of the quote . For example... when quoting you it would look like this
. Next I will then add /quote with the same brackets as the first part around that word to the end of what I want to quote. Hope that helps. :goodvibes

Keep venting...it helps to pass away this endless wait time! :goodvibes

Sorry I haven't been on, hope that you had a Happy Easter and I guess that you are closing today? Good luck and I hope that everything is going smooth!

:flower3: I'm baaaaack! And I've missed you all! Just a quick update - I'm at work and have been out because of the move... so you know... there's 'stuff' to be done. :goodvibes

Anyway- we did get closed and it was a piece of cake! Was so thankful for that smooth transition. We were able to move most of our belongings to the new house, working around some crazy rain storms, but just lack 1 piano in a friend's garage as well as the stuff we ended up putting in a storage unit. But, we are through the worst and I feel I can take my time in unpacking so long as my family can eat, wash themselves and have a bed. :lmao:

Longer update later! Just wanted to say hello! AND I did get our tickets to MVMCP for the 18th! The more we get finalized, the more concrete our plans become which is nice. Because, and I know you all do this as well... I still look at our days and wonder where I need to 'tweek' the plans. :confused3

Have a great Monday!!

I am glad that closing was smooth.

Congrats on getting the party tickets! I have to laugh whne you mention tweeking the plans... :rotfl: As you know... I SOOOO understand this.

Here is to a time in the near future where we can get all our plans finalized. :thumbsup2

:confused3 Why do we do this to ourselves? I review our 'tentative plans' daily and then some wondering if we are in the right park on the right day and are we making the best dining choices... :lmao: Seriously... it's Disney... I know I should just feel the magic and enjoy! :wizard:

I will tell you, since we do have our airfare purchased and now the party tickets purchased... it's getting 'easier.' And in past trips, I could always get $200 rt airfare... this year we are booked on one airline going and one airline coming home but I still didn't get the best rates I have had in the past. So, just know, once you get them purchased, you will have your framework to work within and that helps. ;) I still say get through June and revisit airfare then and get past that 6 months out mark.

I hear ya! I mean really? It is Disney and no matter what it will be a good time. Oh well, part of the fun for me is planning the trip so... reviewing and tinkering are kinda fun. (except when it turns to worry and you go nuts and drive everyone reading your PTR nuts :rotfl: - I am working on not doing the worrying part though... mostly )

ITA!!! :thumbsup2 I love the planning part!!! And I love to tinker. And I don't know what I will do after the 180 days mark comes and goes and it feels like I have nothing left to tinker with! :confused3 I know the past times we've gone, it seemed like that was the longer waiting period... when it's all planned out and you know what you are going to be doing and you just can only count down the days and watch the ticker! :goodvibes

I have not been on in awhile how did everything go?

The closings were the easiest part. :thumbsup2 Which was so nice. Everyone was happy and pleasant and excited about their new homes and it's nice to be getting back to what's considered normal around my house, anyway! :lmao: Definitely have a lot of unpacking to do - all of the necessities are done but I'm having trouble deciding 'how to decorate.' But I think I'm just going to have to take my time on that and not rush to put stuff on the walls, and so forth. But my family can eat, wash themselves, and sleep and I can get my Disney fix on here with you all so 'life is good!' :goodvibes

I forsee a HUGE garage sale soon - didn't have time to do one before we moved and there really is quite a bit of 'stuff' that I couldn't just throw it away. What's left over after sale will be donated or if I can't fit in the garage sale, it will all be donated. I just want to get through my boxes and determine if there's more to add to the growing pile of 'treasures.' :rotfl:

Moving is always nuts...

See? There is a silver lining! :teeth:

I'm getting really excited for the party too! We are planning to go on the 14th - but we decided that we're not going to buy our party tickets until the park hours come out. We want to make sure our other days will be set in stone before we jump!

Because, and I know you all do this as well... I still look at our days and wonder where I need to 'tweek' the plans. :confused3
Don't stress! There's going to be a good amount of tweaking to do before the time comes. Heck, our's has been revised at least 10 times since January. Nothing will fall 100% into place until the park hours are out and we get our ADRs.

Happy to hear that that closing went well and the packing and unpacking is on its way! :lmao: I LOVE decorating but I'm just as bad as booking ADR's, constantly changing my mind!! :lmao:

:lmao:We moved into out house on January 12th and I STILL have plenty of boxes to unpack:rotfl2: I just don't know where to put anything:rotfl:! But I am so glad that things went great for you! We are having a garage sale too come July- I am just way to busy to do anything before then! Just think of how much "extra" money you'll have after the garage sale- maybe Disney or decorating?

I'm sure we'll find PLENTY of things to tinker with after the ADRs are made!!!

Like pray for a PIN code  and spend hours trying to manipulate the system into giving you one.

Hey I don't have time to read and won't get on until Monday again, but I hope that you have a VERY happy mother's day!
