My first post to the DISboards.

I visited Walt Disney World when I was a boy in 1972. One attraction was a revue of Disney songs, mostly done through film clips on a large screen. I especially remember the song "So This Is Love" from Cinderella, playing as a silhouette movie of Cinderella and Prince Charming dancing was projected onto the closed stage curtains. :lovestruc

What was the name of this attraction? Thanks.

You are thinking of the Mickey Mouse Review- it was an "E" ticket when the park first opened, then downgraded to a "D" ticket around 1973.

The attraction was located in the same building that now houses the Philharmonic show. MMR left WDW in 1980, and is currently alive and well in Tokyo.

Can't be of any help but I wanted to welcome you to DIS! I am sure someone here can help you though. The amount of info on these boards is amazing!

Welcome to the DIS, Ichabod! We're so glad you found us! :)

Thanks for the answer, and for the welcome. Yes, it was the Mickey Mouse Revue, in Fantasyland. I even found a detailed description of the show, at Widen Your World. Somehow I forgot all the Audio-Animatronic figures that performed most of the program!
