So theres no AAA discount at all star suites? HELP

Hey everyone,
When I called disney today, for the all star suite, they quoted me 209 a night, which is right because we are going in regular season. So I then, perceeded to ask the cm if that includes my AAA discount and she said hold on let me check- When she came back, she exclaimed that no disney suite is ever discounted through AAA!! Well that was news to me

Has anyone else experienced this?

Everything I've read is stating there will be no discounts of any type on these suites.

I wouldn't count on them being discounted until (and if) they build out Pop and have a lot more of them to offer.

The only way I can think of to get a discount is booking thru AAA and using an AAA Visa- you'll get a 2% discount.

I recently joined AAA and called Disney to change my ressie at CSR, we could save lots on a regular room. I asked about the Jr. Suites and she came back with the price of $320 per night (Dec 2006). I asked her are you sure that's with the AAA discount, she said yes, and I asked for the price without the discount, $320. So it must be all suites, not just All Star Music???

I would think that since they are just new and there are so few of them available we will not see any discounts for quite sometime. Why discount them when they know they will fill them up at the rack rates.

I've heard that too, with the reason given being that suites and concierge level are never discounted. I don't know if that's true or not, just what I read on here.
