Definitely go, Holly!! You are so lucky to have a DH that suggests going to Disney. Mine's dragged kicking and screaming.

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in February and loved it. Are you taking the little guy with you? If so, I'm sure he'd love staying in the "big log cabin". Have fun planning!

well that's the weird thing about it! he NEVER suggests that we go anywhere??? see that's the thing that's been bothering me.
i asked him does he just want to go, because he knows i want to go??and he said "no, you said we would go every 2 years and we went in 07 and now it's 09!"
and of course we are taking Bubba! it's all about him!!!!
my sil said i should leave him home and go somewhere just dh and i! and i can't do that. i enjoy my bubba!

I know what you mean. Dan and I are at 14 this year, so next is our 15th and I'd LOVE to plan a trip for just the two of us, but I don't think I can go without Morgan.

I keep getting emails about free dining, buy 4 days get 3 free, I'm soooooo tempted to go. But it's so freakin' hot in August, I'd literally die.

I think you can do it. We are going in aug and we haven't made out adr's yet as it is too soon yet. We all have faith in you in getting it planned. we will all help you.

We had free dining and got an INCREDIBLE upgrade to Saratoga Springs in August/September 2007. It was hot, but definitely worth being there for the free food and awesome room. Let me know what I can do to help, I have a great travel agent.

Of course you are going in Aug. What a great time you will have, but when in Aug. will you be there? It would be awesome if you were there while SDV is on so you can stop by and see the crop room. It is amazing what scrappers bring.

i know right! i don't know what i'm thinking. i've been so super busy this week that i really have not had the chance to poke on the puter about prices. i just have a million things running around in my head. i wish i knew when school starts next year. We have a loser of a superintendent, so i can't call the office to find out. they would probably laugh at me! and who's going to take care of mom? and where am i going to stay? and when? and...and....and.....
now dh's reply to all this is....just pick a place and book it! let's go. everything else will work out somehow. lets fly by the seats of our pants!

I bet someone connected with the school will know - like teacher, dinner ladies etc. School bus driver? They'll be let know well in advance so they're not on vacation at the start of term Our local authorities publish term dates a year ahead on their website - maybe yours does too?

To go to Disney...I could plan a trip in a day..and have. Left the next day for a week long trip, DH, Myself and two kids. Only thing is I wouldn't get into the habit of that there is a chance of not getting good deals on the trip and we did end up paying a bit more for that week. But all someone has to say is Disney and I'm on it.

You have to do it! We went to Star Wars weekends in 2007 with very little time to plan. Sometimes, that is the best way to do it. Then there is magic and adventure around every corner!

I like the WL. I love the Beach Club...but it isn't cheap...You might want to consider a cabin, too. We loved that when we went in January...
