After a stressful week back to work after the festive period, I booked a 2 week break to disneyworld in September this year!!! I'm going with my boyfriend who has never been to Disneyworld before (in decay never been to the United States before).

We are staying in Port Orleans Riverside and have the quick service dining plan!!

It's been 10 years since I've been (since I moved from Orlando to Scotland) so any tips in maximising my time there would be very much appreciated.

I take it you haven't been to POR then? Awesome resort with just the perfect location, IMO. There are buildings to try for which make it so much easier on transportation and walking back to your room after a long night at the parks. I would suggest Alligator Bayou, Building 14. or something very close to that. It's in an ideal spot, close to two bus stops -- on either side of your building and it's really quiet, which is sweet. Short stroll in the morning to the main building for coffee and breakfast to get you on your way. If you can, try for Room 1458 because we left some awesome park memories there two years ago! As for miximizing your time, you are in between a rock and a hard place because the time of year you are going is god-awful packed, I hear. Still, you have a great deal of time to do all you want and still go at a leisurely pace. Time tip: Fastpass! Fastpass! Fastpass! Learn it. Use it without fail on all big attractions. They are free to all park visitors and you are allowed one every two hours, whether you have used the old one or not. Tip2: Regardless what time your Fastpass says it must be used by, it is not the case. Fastpasses are good from start time on your pass to the end of the night at that park. So, if you are in HS and you get a TSM Fastpass that is good from 1-3 p.m., you can use it from 1 pm until closing that night, no problem. So, get your FP that morning, and then every two hours after that, get another for another attraction later that day. And, oh yeah, Have a GREAT TIME!:wizard:
