So sad about ADR for Le Cellier

when my TA called and made my ADR's this was one of the two I was worried about not being able to get as I know how popular it seems to be. I wasn't even able to get my preferred time. I've got a 7:10 adr. This was at the 180 mark and for that day the CM told my TA that they only had 1 more dinner opening.

About 1:45pm (PST) I cancelled a Le Cellier for 8/23 @ 4pm. I hope someone from the DIS was able to get it.

I booked my reservations in March dead on the 180 day mark and managed to get 2 reservations at Le Cellier for one person 9/9 at 7.40pm and 9/22 for 7pm.

I know this sounds crazy, but when we were there for Spring Break they were accepting walk ups until around 5:30. We also had a party of 6 and booked a table for 4 and 2 with the note that we were together and when we got there it was a table for 6 Don't give up though as it was the best meal we had the entire trip (it may be that we grew up in Alberta and were craving the taste of home grown beef now that we are certified Texans!!) I still dream of the creme brulle sampler!!!!

We had lunch instead of dinner at Le Cellier last year before MNSSHP and it was wonderful so don't feel bad if you end up going to lunch.

We have ADR's for LeCellier on 9/2 @ 5:50 But we have to sit at 2 different tables! 4+2. I had to call twice just to get that! My CM said "Oh, Maybe your parents can sit with the kids, and you and your DH can sit on the other side of the room and have a nice romantic dinner" Yeah right My 2 1/2 ds would be running back and forth across the place! THATS not gonna happen. So we'll sit w/the kids. She said as soon as we check in with the hostess to ask her if we could sit near each other(thats the best we could do) Good luck, keep tring to get what you want!

I think calling up and checking to see if there are any cancellations might work. You never know, maybe you'll get lucky!
