So Romantic except for ONE THING!

DH and I just went outside to go swimming. It was so romantic because the country club by our house was having a party and they were playing slow music. So nice...........UNTIL buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz the stupid mosquitos!

I told DH we were buying 25 of those TIKI TORCH thingys just to put around our pool!

Yes, citronella candles help, but OFF! or something else containing a DDT is the best thing to keep them away--but you might not want to use something that toxic regularly.

Those bugs do stink!

Those will definitely kill the romance!

Although, I hate the smell of those citronella candles, as well, so that will kill it for me too.

I've heard that the more chlorine added to a pool, the fewer mosquitos around, but that could just be a myth.

Plant lemon balm. They hate it. You can also break off the leaves and rub it on your skin and they stay away.

I wonder if that would grow on the Cape? We are in Zone 7A. I'd like to plant some by our pool area, I'm fixing up the landscaping AGAIN, now. So it would be a good addtion to my plantings this year if it will grow. Is it an annual?
