So parents- what is the BEST Disney stroller!

Not to hijack, but you all seem to be really into strollers, so I thought I'd ask your advice. I have two boys, 4 1/2 and almost 2, and we will have another baby next year. We use our stroller for the mall, museum, zoo, etc. No public transport or off-roading for us. I have had a Graco Metrolite, and liked it, and then got a Baby Trend cheapy $40 stroller to have as a spare. DH hates for me to spend money on strollers. We go to WDW in September, and I want to bring two singles since we may split up from time to time. I hate the Baby Trend, really hate it, and I can't imagine using it for a week with a 33 pound 4 year old. I can buy a used Mac Techno XT in great shape for $75, but am wondering if that's a good price, and if that will fit my needs (basically, can it comfortably hold my smallish 4 year old)? Should I go for it, or wait and see if a better deal on a better stroller comes along (since we're not leaving until Sept.)?

Also, do they make a child tray for the Macs? After 4+ years I know that we DO use our tray all the time, so I'd want one for it if it's going to be my primary stroller.

If it is in good shape, that is a good price on a Techno XT. I just sold my 2004 Quest on craigslist for $70 and had 5 people who were interested in it. Technos should go for more than a Quest as the Techno has more features.

A 4-year-old will have no problem sitting in a Techno.

BUT, if you want to make the Mac switch, you need to give up the tray. BaBu makes a tray that you can attach to most umbrella-style stroller, but you'll be adding a whole new step and item to remove before you can fold the stroller.

There is a replacement tray from Baby Trend that can be ordered that fits on many of the Maclarens. I know that it will fit the Quest, Triumph, etc. but not positive about the Techno. I believe it just snaps on and off. HTH

I loved my Inglesina Zippy- when I used it in Disney w/a 3 yo, it may have been too much stroller, but any younger it would have been perfect. That being said, the BJCM didn't come out until recently- knowing what I know about it, I think that would be my first choice. Then, the Zippy (the one handed fold is priceless!)

Another BIG vote for the Baby Jogger City Mini. We have three dds, and sadly just found this stroller. It ALMOST makes me want want to be a stroller mom.

That being said, I'm a babywearer. We just came home on Saturday. Dd3 is 5 months old. She spent 90% of the trip in a sling.
I recommend the solarweave Connecta. She was in this sling about 5-7 hours a day, and my back never hurt. If folds super small, and fits great in a diaper bag. Plus it has a hood for the FL sun, and is made of material with SPF. (Just had to throw in a plug for us babywearers);)

Congrats on the new addition. Disney will never be the same.

I've had my fair share of strollers, too, and I would also have to vote for the Baby Jogger City Mini. It really is a GREAT stroller. You can buy an optional seat tray for it, but as someone else mentioned, only one stroller I ever owned had a tray, and we don't miss it. I did, however, buy the parent console. :thumbsup2
