Well, we are splitting our honeymoon this October between Jamaica or Aruba or Disney. I originally wanted a Disney wedding but, he wanted to get married at home with family.

Now, he likes the idea of getting married in the Caribbean, as he has finally come to my thinking that the kids will be bored at the wedding! We will be getting married alone - second weddings for both of us. And I have been browsing the disney wedding site again, thinking - if we're getting married again, why not Disney? I feel a little guilty about the kids not being there, but not too much. I just find weddings too boring for kids, and our kids get to visit disney a whole heap anyway, as I have dvc. Should I just go ahead and reserve a disney wedding, and tell him that is what I really want? And will we be able to get an intimate package now, for October this year?

I think you have to arrange with Disney 30-60 days in advance.. so you still have time to arrange an intimate wedding.

I think you could do it. Make sure you are sure if this is what you and your fiancee wants. I know that is weird to say, but figure out what would make it the perfect day for you and then go for that. For me, it was to have my family there and I could not have my Disney wedding without my Dad walking me down the aisle.

If it is really important for you to have a wedding at Disney then I would try to explain that to your dh2b. The first thing I would do if you are seriously considoring a DFTW would be to call Disney and see about making a hotel reservation because you can only book an intimate wedding after you have booked your hotel. There is a 4 night minimum stay. Then call DFTW and see what dates and times they have available. It is your special day so try to do what makes the 2 of you happy without worrying about everyone else( I know easier said then done) Whatever you chose congratulations! :cloud9:

Discuss it with your FI and then call Disney and see if they have that date open..ya never know :)
