So, now that Early Entry is no longer, when do the parks actually open?

My family and I are getting ready to go to DL/DCA during the third week of October. Most days DL opens at 10, except for Friday at 9 and Saturday at 8. DCA opens at 10 most days.

What is the current park opening procedure? We're staying at the Grand Californian; when should we actually try to get to the parks? Do they still open Main Street one half hour before the rest of the park?

Thanks in advance for any last minute advice! We haven't been to DL in six years, and are really looking forward to it.

I believe they open Main Street 30 minutes early on all days except an 8:00 a.m. opening. Main Street also stays open 1 hour past closing which is a great time to pick up souveniers and photos. Have fun!

If DL opens at 8, then the turnstiles don't open until 8. If the open at 9 or 10, then they let you on Main Street 30 minutes before opening. DCA's turnstiles will open at 9:30 and Soarin' is the only ride open at that time. For a while they had TOT open, too, but as of the second weekend in Sept, they didn't open TOT until 10.

Hey, anyone know what DL hours will be like in June? Thought maybe somebody would know. Trying to figure out a schedule when we visit then.
