So, my freshman year of high school.......

Oh Hazzi, I meant that I'd change schools. I'd go to the public school down the road as opposed to the school I already go to.

It's been ok.

The teachers all suck, though: my English teacher is insane, my Gov teacher just goes by the book, my math teacher is boring, my Latin teacher doesn't teach, my chemistry teacher is also insane, and my German teacher is a nazi...

My grades have been fine except 2nd quarter I got mostly Bs. :sad2:

I have friends in every class which is good.

The Rifle team has lost every match except one, but I guess that's to be expected being on a Northern Virginia team that shoots against Southern Virginians.

Oh right gotcha, I was thinking you weren't the type to give up education:goodvibes

Mmm last term was alright minus an 89% in maths which i blame on the pathetic excuse of a teacher.

This term i seem to be getting mouthy. In drama i got told off for opening my mouth during register (i have a cold i was just trying to breathe), then i got told to keep my tongue in my own mouth, which sent my friends into hysterics(my friend called me short so i poked my tongue out at her) oh and then i blatantly lied to the teachers face (but i was telling the truth.) And of course the whole science class was talking and i'm sitting there mouth shut with a bored look ok my face and the science teacher calls for silence, a group at the back continue talking and he shouts at moi. My idiot of a maths teacher moved my friend because i was a bad influence on him, i mean jesus he lifted my shirt and tried to undo my bra( um because he tried to do it without the shirt lifting and i was like good luck because it doesn't undo so he lifted my shirt) but no no no i am the bad influence so now i'm all alone.

However we have finished with diary entries and newspapers in english, which is good because i basically plain suck at newspapers and well i did my diary entry in second person because i find first person difficult to convey emotion in(i suck at writing.)

Never. I'm making the most of it, although its difficult to maintain high averages in biology. ew.

If I were you, I would've slapped that boy across his face.

I considered that, I mean it's pushing the boundaries even for him. He's one of my best friends and everything and well lets just say we get a lot of ' are you two together.'

I slapped him later when he stole my hood, twisted my bad arm and then slammed a door in my face. I felt really bad because his face was red for ages and then it came out into a bruise around his eye. See i have a slight conscience. =]

i'm a freshman too and this year has been insane!!!

kind of heartbreaking at the beginning (i got dumped) but got over that fast and now we are the best of friends which is awesome

friend crap every day has got me kind of mad but we got over that too and my grades are so much better than they were last year.

i can't wait for the next half of the year!!!!

Sophomore year's been alright. Better than last year, academically and friends-wise too. I'm getting slightly better grades (although not great), and I have a whole new group of amazing friends, who I can finally say are my friends. I'm no longer in that awful transition period of switching groups. Ugh. The next half of the year is probably going to be more challenging, but I feel like I'm up for it. I have a good part in the school play in March, Fiddler on the Roof, so that's something to look forward to. :)

I remember over the summer, I was always worried about high school. In Ohio, I was going to go to a school with a total of 400 kids. I thought that was a lot. But when we moved, I was enrolled in a school with 1800 kids. So I was like freaking out but making the JV volleyball team really helped because all the girls were older so they introduced me to tons of people so I'd feel more welcome. But I love my school to death! Despite our few "issues", I am soooooo glad I am going there.

hahaha me too me and a bunch of other people that i know have been making my geography teacher CDs and he listens to all of them he said one of the ones that me and one of my friends made said it made him want to drive off a bridge and then i got him to read Twilight and right now he's reading New Moon:rotfl2:

OMG!!!i just got done reading those!!!they are awesome!!!!

Right now, I am a junior at my High School and I cant believe it! Its weird. When I was in the 8th grade, the 8th grade was apart of the High School, (its now back with the middle school), but anyways, I met who is now my best friend (she was a Senior) and she told me that High School will fly by and I didnt believe her. Now that I'm a junior its true. I can't believe that I'm graduating next year. Its kinda scary.

As much as I love high school, I'm scared to death to think about the next 3 years. I don't wanna grow up. I wanna stay a kid forever. The thought of growing up and living on my own without my parents scares the hell out of me! I wish I could be a freshman forever!

I know how you feel about being scared. I just graduated this last year (2007) and it took a while for it to hit me that high school was really over. I'm going to college but living at home because I still don't think I could handle living on my own! Just enjoy high school while you're in it!!

Will do! :thumbsup2 I had this convo with my mom the other day too and I explained to her how afraid I am of growing up. I hate being away from family. I hate sleep overs(unless they're at my house or a relatives). I just always feel safe with my family. And the thought of leaving them (my parents and sibilings) when I grow up scares me sooooo bad!

I feel the same way too, about growing up and such. I'm also in my Junior year, and it's also going by pretty fast. I just can't believe that I'm almost finished with high school. But, my boyfriend helps me not to be so afraid about it, and to not worry so much about growing up, and just take one day at a time. :goodvibes
