So, my freshman year of high school.......

is half way over. This year has flown by for me! How about ya'll? How has your 2007-2008 school year been so far?

My school year has been really good. I made Honor Roll the 1st semester with only 1 B and 6 A's. I got all my college stuff done early, and I've been accepted to 2 schools. And my year is even more than half over because Seniors get out in May instead of June so technically I have 1.5 Terms to go! Plus if Seniors can maintain an 80 average in a class, they don't have to take the final in June, so I'm looking forward to that!!
Then next fall, back to being a freshman But at least I'll be in college

Anyways, my school year has been fine I guess even though it could be better. I started off with awesome grades but like they say, what goes up must come down, and well, that's what happened to my grades in the 2nd semester. I'm trying my best now to raise them up.

I LOVED my freshman year. If I could go back to it, I would.
Most of my classes and teachers suck, and like...I only have 2 or 3 classes with my best friends.

this year has gone pretty well.
Last semester I passed all of my classes with mostly A's, I got 2 B's. I had friends in pretty much every class.

This semester isn't as great. My lunch really sucks, I have no friends in gym, and I have to take communications(which is like speech) I hate giving speeches with a burning fiery passion, and I really suck at it. But other than that, it's pretty good. :]

My year has been really good. I did break up with my boyfriend early on, but wow. The rest of it has been amazing. I was in WDW in November. I'm passing all my classes. I've got phenomenal teachers. I've made a lot of friends, students and faculty alike this year. For the first time since Freshman year, I've got teachers I consider people I can just talk to and hang out with. I played good volleyball this fall, even if my team didn't do so hot. I had a great indoor track season. I'm looking forward to outdoor season soooo much now.

hahaha me too me and a bunch of other people that i know have been making my geography teacher CDs and he listens to all of them he said one of the ones that me and one of my friends made said it made him want to drive off a bridge and then i got him to read Twilight and right now he's reading New Moon

I've got 2/3 of the hippie gang of teachers at my school! Freedman even had his car searched when the drug dogs went through the school! They're amazing though. Freedman and I debate everything from world issues to his son. We just kinda hang out sometimes before/after class. Then Chambo and I just have this witty repartee going back and forth that's really fun. We make cracks at each other. Come to think of it, so do Mr. Wood and I. He's a cool guy when he's not really into his role of "teacher". We'll try to make each other laugh just to see who cracks first! It's usually him, but he's got me a few times. I love my teachers this year. Except next semester I lose Psych and Freedman and gain Chem and LaJoie (aka: MUTTONCHOPS!- the man has huge sideburns).

It is a group of teachers who are very...well, hippie-esque. In the sense that they're very, very enviornmentally conscious, grew up in the 60's, and eat lunch together...and one sings (Freedman, although Chambo can sing if he wants to) and another (Mahan) plays guitar. And they get together and are just plain awesome. You'd understand if you ever met them. It'd click like...instantly as to why they're called the hippie gang.

It's horrible.
I'm supposed to be making my options but i have no idea. I know i'd like to take history, i'm in the top set for science and therefore everyone in my class is taking an extra science as an option but my gawd if i had to have 15 hours a fortnight of science i'd be so miserable. There is nothing i want to take in the column for option A and way too many things in the columns for option B and C. I hate decisions.

got average marks in all my Mock GCSEs and i need to finish all my coursework... next week i'm staying behind after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to catch up...

i just can't wait for it to be over. I hate my school so i'm glad it's only about 5 more months

Haz, what at the options you can choose? I got to choose 6 but i wish i had only had to choose 3... then i would have done Music, German or Food Tech and had Physics, Drama and Geography only...

and 15 hours of Science a fortnight? I only have 4 hours a fortnight and my friend who does triple Science has about 12 hours a fortnight...

this year went by so much faster than last year for me, i think its because im not a freshman anymore...its kinda scary how fast 2 1/2 years are going to go by.

The first half of my year was okay. I made a lot of new friends. In both school and in my community.
But I didn't work to my potential, I got A's and B's but I know I can do better.So this next semester education is coming first.
It flew by SO fast.
