I'm watching Food Network, they're airing a show on Disney Fairytale Weddings.
One of the groups they featured was a couple renewing their vows on their 40th anniversary (planned as a surprise by their daughter :))
After the ceremony, they dined at 'Ohana. In describing the meal, the first item they report is the banana bread which has been "served for over thirty years".
Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I realize the show was taped before the menu changes, but within the last two years.

Not exactly sure what point your making here. As of January of this year, the banana bread is still on the menu at Ohana's :confused3 :sunny:
 

I thought they had pineapple bread?? Am I wrong or what btw, I watched that- the cakes were beautiful!!

There's a thread on this board that says they don't have the bread at dinner anymore. They now serve a pineapple coconut bread that is not made in-house.
