As you may or may not know, since my fireworks magic is 5-star, any time I get another pin playing fireworks I give it away to someone in VMK.

So after a few unsuccessful rooms in Main Street I ended up at Central Plaza and I asked if anyone wants a 1-star fireworks pin for free. So this girl responds and we go into the trade screen. I've got the pin in my trade window and ready to click accept when she asks if I have a princess dress. I tell her 'yes, but it's not for trade'.

She then asks to 'borrow it' and that she promises she'll give it back. Yeah right.

After that dialogue I decided I didn't want to give my fireworks pin to her any more. So I exited the trade, walked to my left over to the Castle Forcourt and gave it to someone else.

So much for being nice...

but, at least this story had a happy ending. A VMKer who really wanted the pin got it.

you should save all you fireworks magics and then make a quest with a lot of them as prizes you would get a lot of ppl i think that would love your quest

Highest I've gotten in the fireworks game was 3rd place (first thing in morning) with just over 200,000 points. I'll take a single star off your hands as I've just about given up on ever being able to earn one.

It doesn't surprise me that these kids are trying to milk more out of the
generosity of others. You did the right thing. If I was giving away a
magic pin, and someone had the nerve to ask for more stuff, I'd close
the window immediately, too.

Anyone who tries to take advantage after you're willing to give to them
isn't worthy of the gift. Beggars don't deserve to get anything.

keep up the random acts of kindness! i do the same with my fireworks pins too, have lost count how many....one thing that has happened to sour it for me are the repeat customers....some have gotten on my friend's lists after i gave them a pin, and they have come back asking for "extras" or making up some lame story that it got "stolen"...one person was even wearing one when they said they "lost" their pin i gave them lol!

anyway they didn't stay on my list for long....but over all ppl are very nice when getting one and make the "giving" part fun

Alison please do not stop being nice. There are people like me who do appreciate the nicities. I am useless at the games to earn credits so getting anything is a long slow laborous process. I usually have to look for free codes to get anything. And I have all my family members do the in park quests but last time we were there was when VMK was first opened. I just got the mules thing I have heard of before but do not know how many I can do? Anyway, thanks for your efforts to be nice to us.

Keep up the gift giving! It does give you the warm fuzzies when you gift someone and they are truly grateful for that gift. I used to gift quite often, although lately I put these items into my quests. I never give to someone who asks, unless they are asking to trade. I've gifted many things, including rare items. Everyone should try it! After all, sharing is caring!
I hope that person who tried to 'steal' (yes, I believe she was) your princess dress realizes she could have had an amazing friend on vmk!

Yeah I hate when someone states that they have an item for trade and then offer junk as they have nothing or ask for other items in addition. Why do they think just because you have a trade window open you will give what they want is beyond me.

btw, I only got 2 pins today, and I gave them to a boyfriend/girlfriend couple. But I know I'll get more! I got one for winning fireworks, and then I got another for winning the game right after that. I tried for 3 in a row but I guess VMK doesn't work that way.
