I'm not positive about this, but I think you're wrong. The Senate Select Intelligence committee (bipartisan) has access to all the same information as the President. It's part of the "checks and balances" of our system.

Actually, it's not false in this case. Senator Kerry did not see less information about this than the President. In late 2002 Senator Graham Confirmed it:

"Yes, we had seen all the information," said Graham. "But we didn't see it on a single piece of paper, the way the President did."

I guess we just disagree. The Saudi royal family has nothing whatsoever to do with Syrian, Jordanian or even British and American Muslims who end up in those camps. We're fighting an ideology with roots in politics as much as religion.

Absolutely. The entire geopolitical atmosphere of the region has the potential for tremendous change. Its taken the Saudi's a while to arrive to the party but they are getting dressed!
