My mom (have my mentioned my mom is 83?)
is paying for our wedding (with contributions from us). As some of you may know, I'm working on the invites now and I have a question....

How do I refer to my mom in the invites? Ms.? Mrs. (Dad's name) Last name? Or what?

Mrs. Mary Smith would work (obviously using your mom's real name )

or...ask her how she would like to be "addressed".

Has your father passed? Do you wish to include his name on the invitation?

You could also do something like this if you want:

You are cordially invited to celebrate
the wedding of
Rachel Susan Smith
the daughter of Anne Smith and the late John Smith
and Theodore Joseph Johnson
the son of Linda Johnson and the late Patrick Johnson
