Hi everyone, I used to post on a regular basis but haven't been on the boards for quite some time.

I've been a member since '92 but haven't been able to go to WDW since '07. My daughter is going in March (honeymoon) and got contacted about setting up fastpasses in advance. I'm clueless. She's asking if she should buy her park tickets now to set the fastpasses up and wants to know what is the difference between setting them up in advance and doing it at the park..

HELP any info on this or any other changes would be appreciated

Thanks

You should probably check out the FP+ threads on the Theme Park Boards for more specifics, but briefly, if she has tickets and a on site reservation, she can book FPs up to 60 days before her trip. If she doesn't do that, she could do it in the parks on arrival, but I wouldn't opt for that. Tickets are connected with an account created in My Disney Experience and that allows you to make FP reservations. There are no "old" FPs now like before, just this reserved option. She will get a magic band which replaces the previous Key to the World card. That card will be hotel key, park admission FP reservations, charging, etc.
