We are going on our first trip in October. We are staying offsite with our two girls, ages 4 & 6. I am torn between getting a great deal and getting a fun place for the kids! But, we also want to make sure we are staying at a nice place (3.5 stars or better)
We are looking at:
Caribe Cove
Floridays
Hawthorn Suites
Also, I'm waiting on a price quote for Bonnet Creek!
We know the kids won't be able to do all day at the parks, so we plan to be at the resort quite a bit. DH wants to go to Floridays, but if it's just for the kiddie pool, is that worth another $50-$60/night? I wish it also had a playground.
Any thoughts on these places, or any place else that is reasonable, but really kid-oriented?

We got a good rate on Bookit.com They have a condo set up that are very spacious but what my kids loved was the pool. 2 waterslides, a lazy river, pool games etc.. We also liked the Fountains. Again condo style resort with pool with water slides. We have been the last 5 years and stayed many places off site. These were 2 standouts. BUT if space is not your issue, you can stay at a moderate resort for the same prices and they have great pools with that special magic. Port Orleans Riverside is our family favorite.
