Hi Janice & Shirley

Last day was like every other - pretty uneventful and didn't do very much!!!

Had a morning wandering round the office saying goodbye to everyone, followed by a leaving presentation (they made me do a speach - very embarrassing!!) and was taken out to lunch by some girly mates.

Friday I had to get up early to take Des to work, then back into Tunbridge Wells for another leaving lunch (3 of us were leaving at the same time so we had joint drinkies) then Xmas shopping in the afternoon followed by a leaving bash in the evening.


Needless to say I'm knackered today but glad it's all over.

My colleagues asked me the day before I was leaving what I wanted them to buy with the collection. I did suggest ArtBAse vouchers but with such short notice that couldn't be arranged so I very cheekily asked for the money and that's what I got. I got £50 aso I'm putting it towards buying a Sizzix - mum and dad come back from Orlando tomorrow morning so hopefully (all fingers crossed) they've brought me one back!!!! I did plead with them but my dad really didn't understand the importance of following out my instructions!!

I'm quite nervous about next week and how I'll fit into working from home and motivating myself but I'm sure after a few weeks it'll be fine.

I really feel like my life is now beginning. I've been so unhappy in my last job for a long time and was getting very synical about everything and just moaned from one day to another.

I'm now ready to start afresh and at least now my hard work should hopefully mean the venture is a success. I know I have an awful lot to learn about every aspect and I'm sure I'm going to be a real pest over the coming months asking you lot questions about Florida. I've only been once myself so far so am a novice - although we have read stack loads about the area.

So here's to the future!!!!!!
