So it's all Linked in MDE. Now what?

Up until now I had a phone where I couldn't get/use the app. Now I have a Galaxy S4. I got the app, signed on. Went to my PC and linked each of the 6 people on my reserv. to either a park hopper ticket or an Annual Pass (4 - yet to be picked up at will-call). It all worked far better than I expected.
Dining ressies (hate that word) also all there.

OK. So now what? What do I get from this? Is there any advantage to what I just did.

If we don't get selected for magic band testing, did the linking get me anything?

CR has been a testing resort.. not sure if that extends to BLT...

When your online looking at MDE does it allow you to select fastpass+. Some people were able to before even being notified that they were part of the test.

At this point, I don't think it does. I am going to BLT next week and have not been able to access FP+. I think the test is including on some at the CR and BLT was part of the July test.

The only thing I don't want to do with the linking is have my DD's tickets on their KTTW cards since I will be converting them to AP's when I get there.

Linking tickets to your reservation might mean you can pull FP- with both your tickets and KTTW

Yes, I was talking about the old-school FP machines in the parks. If you have a ticket and a KTTW, you can try them both in thè FP machines.

No that doesn't work. once they put tickets on your KTTW, the ticket is just a souvenir. HOWEVER, I am hoping that my annual pass will work separately.

True once added to the KTTW the ticket is done.

But, if you don't mind carrying both a ticket and a KTTW, keep them seperate and don't add your ticket to the KTTW...and you might get 2x old FP- .

And if it doesn't work, then have them added back at the resort.

(If you have a paper ticket, guest relations will convert them to a green plastic MYW so you can "tap" in to the new turnstyles.)
