somebody unplug my computer! the digi kits weren't enough and now I must have brush sets for my pse program. First off, I have NO CLUE what pse is capable of doing and why I must suddenly have brush sets is really beyond me... what will I be needing next? (um, yeah don't actually answer that question :) ) maggie

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Looks like you're now a full fledged digi-scrapper!!!! BTW, how many fonts do you have?!?!?! You'll be needing more of those, too!! And, don't forget actions and styles!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

oh trust me, I DON'T need any more fonts... and currently I don't know a) what actions are or b) what they do so I'm thinking I don't need those this week, quite possibly I will need them next week however. :) maggie

OOOh, yes! Brushes!! They're fantastic....couldn't tell you how many I've lifted off Obsidian Dawn's site.

I've also downloaded some styles - not sure about actions - I don't really know what those are or how those work. Maybe that's for the best...?

OK - Now, thanks to the Shabbyshoppe.com I have learned how to make my own brush out of a png. I'm in heaven - just created 6 Disney brushes for myself!!

rofl, yeah I made a bunch of irish dancer brushes earlier today.... it's so TOTALLY out of control and I'm sure it's y'all's fault. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: maggie

Any chance you'd like to share them with us?? I'd be happy to put them on my blog if you want to share them!

Happy to PM or email them to you - I'm so old school, I don't have a blog of my own! Give me another day or two to troll some more and draft up credits - I used pngs from a number of people to make the brushes...

OK -- cool! feel free to email them to me at labdogs42 AT gmail . com

I have to confess, I deleted a brush and forgot to save it properly - now neither my disney brushes nor my special effects brushes work. I've tried resetting PSE and that hasn't worked.

So...everyone will just have to be patient - I promise I'll re-do them ('cause I still want them!!) Just might have to wait for the weekend. :-(

OK...Finished re-doing my brushes, added a few and made a preview page with credits on it. Emailing today...

Thanks RC Disney fan., I think they are great. but now i have no idea what to do with them? Anyone recommend a site with tutorials on Brushes? I have the basics of PSE down(at least i think so ;) ) but now have to learn all about brushes.... :rotfl:

wait, did I miss something? where are the brushes? :) maggie

I emailed them to Jessica to post on her blog (since I don't have a way to share them myself! I have to admit, Disneyfan2 PM'd me asking for the set, so I sent them to her at the same time. I posted the preview to snapfish (couldn't get a direct link to work!):

http://www2.snapfish.com/viewshared...19/l=425910212/g=135781627/otsc=SYE/otsi=****

The previews are all done at 693 pixels and about half of the brushes still look pretty good in the 1500-2000 range (e.g. full page). I don't have ideas for use for all of them either - some of it was experimentation to see if I *could* do something. :)

Sorry -- I was away for the weekend at a Scrapbooking retreat with NO internet access!! AAAGH!!! I'm catching up on all my stuff now -- uploading all the layouts I did over the weekend, unpacking etc. I'll get the new stuff on my blog by tomorrow at the latest!!

oooh, those are cute... I really like them! :) I will wait oh so patiently for them. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: maggie

Brushes are great for making your own papers and such. I just started visiting these boards but have been an avid digi-scrapper for awhile now. You'll have a great time with all your new goodies. You may need to find more hard drive space too as I did when I was finding all these fun free kits, brushes, fonts, and more.

Have fun! Thanks for sharing the brush site.
