So, is Tony Soprano going to die?

DH was hoping he'd stay in the coma so we could see the fallout of the impact it would have on the family. Not me! I can't imagine the show going foward without him.

I loved last night's episode, especially how thw dream ended with the reunion.

I was dying laughing when Paulie started yapping....beep, beep, BEEP, BEEP, BEEEEEEP! Then in the dream he was banging on the wall...... :rotfl:

Vito and Finn....back together. I was as creeped out as Finn! Vito is having a hard time keeping a lid on his desires and ambitions. I'm wondering who's going to get wacked this season.....Vito or Paulie or both. Did Vito lose all that weight to impress Finn?

I felt bad for Silvio. He couldn't handle it. He couldn't even have a moment's peace in the bathroom! :lmao: Was it a panic attack? He said before in the first season that he once saw a shrink. Makes you wonder why he's so aware of his limitations.

I was very relieved that Tony is back! I think he is going to be pretty angry at the state of things though!

I would love to see Vito get whacked!

What do you think is wrong with Sil? Lung cancer?

Another vote to whack Vito!

I'm glad that Tony's finally back again. They need to get him out of the hospital now and back to business!

I loved when the nurse told Carmella not to get into bed with him anymore because she pulled out one of his tubes. Carm's response was great... and at the same time probably correct.

BTW, I asked my friend who is a doctor last week about why they'd leave Tony's wounds wide open like that. I knew there was a reason, I just couldn't remember what it was. She said it is to fight off infection, especially used for situations where an appendix ruptured, or in Tony's case, his gallbladder whas knicked by the bullet. It is done to make it easier for the doctors to insert drainage tubes, if needed. She said that it's not done too often these days, but still is sometimes. Just thougth I'd share since we discussed this last week. Sorry if you're reading it with your Monday morning coffee.

I think Sil just couldn't handle being the acting boss. He couldn't even make a decision about the dispute between Bobby and Vito.

Vito is really creepy, but not in a good way. I hope he gets whacked soon, too.

I loved how Tony Blundetto was the greeter at the death house. I actually gasped out loud when I saw him.

All kinds of little moments of brilliance last night. Loved this edit- the dishwasher flies open revealing the score and DING!- cut to the hospital elevator opening. That DING! was perfectly placed!

Finn and Vito- that's gonna be interesting.

Carm talking to Dr. Melfi- completely honestly.

JT: "They call him The Butcher" Sil: "No, they don't."

In my crystal ball I see AJ in serious trouble with the boys, and Meadow gaining power in the Family.

I thought it was interesting that for all the love and attention Tony's family was giving him, their love was only bringing him closer and closer to the "light". It wasn't until Paulie came and someone finally started talking about the business that Tony's blood began to boil and he decided he didn't want to go inside the house, which was Heaven, and die. I think it was business that brought Tony out of the coma and not his family. I believe that showed where Tony's heart really is. Sure he loves his family, etc. but does he live for his family, literally, or for business. I think Tony coming back was because of how much he loves the business.

Paulie and his kvetching got Tony so upset it brought him back. All those Sinatra songs and warm teddy bear moments that Meadow and Carmella were giving Tony didn't make him want to live. Business did, however.

It should be interesting to see if Tony is a changed man or not after his time in purgatory.

Just my thoughts on the episode and what makes Tony really tick. Literally.:)

If Tony B. is the doorman and the mysterious woman in the doorway is Livia (JMO), I'm not convinced the house was Heaven. I'm not saying it was Hell either, but just death.

Also, IMO, it was Meadow's calls out to Tony (through the trees) that brought him back to "life". I agree to some extent that his business is his life, but I also think Meadow is the only one is his real family or his work family who has shown unconditional love for Tony. It would be interesting to see if she ends up being the one to follow in her father's footsteps.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to watching it tonight! :thumbsup2 Sounds like a good one.

I missed the episode with Finn and Vito...what is Vito's thing with Finn...Does V know Finn saw him?

Last season when Finn was working at the construction site, he was out all night at a beach party and decided to just go straight to work. He arrived just before dawn to discover Vito in a car with another man in an intimate moment. They made eye contact. Later that day, Vito approaches Finn and admonishes him for "working too hard". Vito then flashes two tickets to that evening's Yankee's game and practically orders Finn to join him. Finn gets scared and has a long night with Meadow, where he confides everything and says he thinks Vito eithers wants to kill him or have sex with him. He stands up Vito that night. The two argue all night and in the wee hours of the morning, an exasperated and exhausted Finn proposes to Meadow. I only mention all the extra stuff because I think the thing with Vito might have prompted the proposal. As Meadow's fiance, he has some protection.

I thought Vito was just threatened by Finn knowing the truth and that was it. It looks like it's more than that this time around.....creepy.

ok...I saw a clip with Vito and Finn in the cars, but didn't know the other stuff...I was creeped out by that last night...YIKES!

I think Finn and Meadow are getting married..they said there is a wedding this year and I saw a picture of Carm and Tony at a formal affair

Does anyone remember the finale of the show St. Elsewhere? At the end of the final episode, we learn that the entire storyline of the show existed only in the mind of an autistic child. Do you suppose that Kevin Finnerty is real, and that all of the previous seasons stories exist only in the mind of Kevin Finnerty as he succumbs to alzheimers? :confused3
I will be really disappointed if this turns out to be a dream or something. When Christopher started talking about his movie last night I told DH that the show better not be one of his scripts.

This is exactly how I read the scene. And I also thought that was supposed to be Livia in the doorway.

We just watched it last night as my DH was exhausted Sun night to watch...the nerve. :furious: LOL..

Whats with Christopher and this movie thing, it was just an odd converstion with Tony sitting in the chair. :confused3 We really thought they were going to show him closer to walking in the door of that house, and see Adrianna and Sal and we thought it was his mother as well.

My take on that was that the last time Christopher brought it up Tony said no, and this time, Christopher has the nerve to come to the hospital and not only tell Tony he's doing it, but hold Adrianna's death over his head?

I think it's just another sign that Tony is losing control of his organization!

But Tony never said no. He gave his blessing way back then, but with the stipulation that if he did it, he could never come back to the family.

Oh, I forgot! But I think Chris got the idea he couldn't do it. Now he's just being so bold.
