SO...is tomorrow "THE" day??? How will you be checking the updates??

I'm hoping, praying, sending pixie dust to us all that tomorrow is truly THE day that Free Dining comes our way for Fall/Winter!!!! I swear, I've been checking the Disney Visa Chase site constantly as well as the WDW website!!!

What will you be trying for tomorrow to find out if the rumor is true??? I plan on gettting up around 6 and checking the WDW website as well as here to see if there are any updates posted!!!

Hoping for an 11/3 arrival at the Carribean Beach Resort!!!!

I've been doing this for 5 years now: Disney isn't going to put out a GP discount without making an official announcement about it ahead of time. Typically the "official" announcement comes the evening before - usually 7 to 9 PM. (TAs already know about it, but aren't supposed to say, which is why you are getting more and more hints coming out.)

Therefore, I'll be perusing the boards quite often this evening to check for the announcement, and then will start dialing Disney at 6:55 AM tomorrow if there's an announcement. If not I will be going to work as usual @ 7 AM.

Doing much the same as skier_pete, only I work from home so I'll sit on hold for awhile and set up my vacation. Then when DP gets home we're going to call my mom and let her know we're taking her for her birthday (December 12th).

I'll be watching for some kind of announcement this evening. If it comes, then I'll set my alrm for 6:30am, get up, check out the WDW site & of course, here. Then I'll begin dialing at 6:55am & get my ressie all squared away, then hope the 2 year old is still in bed so I can go back to bed. If there's no announcement tonight, I'll still be sleeping at 7am!

I'm really not sure myself how they will make the announcement! I know when the current free dining offer came out, I saw several TV commercials as well as on their website. So, I'm going to check their website first, and here 2nd, as I suspect, we'll get the news faster on here!

I wouldn't be looking for any 2012 dates in tomorrow's rumored free dining announcement. Probably won't see those discounts until this fall.

Sadly I'm right there with you. As much as I don't want this to blow up, I'd love for the dates to be wrong.

Just wanted to share that last year my husband received a pin code a few weeks after the free dining extension was released. The pin code was for free dining and could even be applied to those black out dates listed in the general public offer (our week was firm). We got lucky! So . .still hope for everyone!

WDW Reservations open at 7 a.m. EST. As for the WDW site, the FD Promo should be under special offers around that time too, BUT there have been times in the past when a general public FD offer didn't come up on the site for bookings until later in the day, even the next day. Just look first thing in the morning.
