Hi All- Just getting this whole ADR thing straight BEFORE my 180 day mark. :confused3 Okay, so I check into a Disney Resort to start our vacation on Sunday November 25th and would like to book the earliest lunch (noon) at Cinderella's Royal Table for Tuesday November 27th. My 180 day mark (from check-in) should put me on Tuesday May 29th, right? So, if I understand this correctly, I can book from that day to 10 days after that for priority seating. Does this include CRT or does that have to be from the 180 day mark of that particular reservation date! This is all so confusing! :headache: The last time we were at WDW was for our honeymoon in 1995, long before the days of reservations. In fact, we just went to look at the castle and were "invited" by a CSM to stay for dinner. Those were the days....

On May 29 you can book your ADR's from the date of check in + 10 days. Meaning up until Dec 4. But try calling to get the ADR's next week. My 180 days technically starts on Monday but I was able to get a few (including CRT) done this past Tuesday. I still have to wait for a few which is strange but the system let the CM enter some but not others. So I'll be calling back on Monday for the rest.

I'd recommend calling on Monday and then every morning after that until you get someone able to enter your CRT ADR.

My sister in law just booked her CRT for that week. What you have to do is call and if they say it is too early to make the reservation tell them when you check in, and that is 180 days away, and you can make reservations for up to the next 10 days. Sometimes you get a CM that does not understand.
Either insist they try to book you, ask for a manager or hang up and call right back. Technically you can book up to 190 days away for any seating. You just have to find someone that knows what they are doing.
Once my sister inlaw explained it she got a reservation but only AFTER being told it was too early to call.

You are correct that you will hit your 180 days out on May 29th. Everytime, and I do mean everytime, I have called it has been explained to me that on 180 days out from your check-in date you can then make reservations for the first 10 days of your stay. There might be times when you can get lucky and get a CM that will make you ressie more than 180 days out but most will tell you to call back.

Good luck.

Okay, so I just called and got a (very nice I might add) CM that said his computer would not register that date-after he did try it for me. :badpc: Then, he took a few moments to try other dates, just to see when he "could" accept reservations up to. Low and behold, the computer would have accepted up to the 24th! So, he insisted that I call back at 6am (what's with that by the way? :coffee: I thought they opened at 7am? I'm even in the same time zone! Go figure!) on Monday to try again. That's clearly much sooner than my 180 day mark! Okay, so now what are the chances that I get some CM that "sticks to the rules" when I call back? My luck....:sad2:

Okay so...I just called up and was like, i just wanted to see if I could make my dining reservations yet? And the lady asked for the date, and booked all of my reservations up to 11/24. I figured I would just play dumb, to see if it would work...but they didn't even ask me for my resort confirmation number. I don't arrive until 11/20, at Pop Century for the first day of my trip. So, now I got some of my reservations out of the way. LOL, she even heard me typing the confirmation numbers into my spreadsheet that I have for them, and she was cracking up at me!! :lmao:
