So is this the future of early entry

Incidentally -- it's almost always faster than taking the boat unless the boat is arriving as you walk up. Once, we were walking up to the PB boat launch just as the boat was pulling away. We passed the US bag check just as the captain was closing the gate to make his return trip to PB.

On Tuesday morning we had been told that the boats would begin running at 5am. We walked out of the HRH at 5:10, there were pedicabs but the boat was at the dock, all dark and abandoned. We began walking toward the park and the boat captain finally stirred and turned on his lights, he was hiding in the dark so no one would try to board!

Okay everyone booking knew there would be lines for the first few months (horrible lines the first few weeks) and the point of early entry is you have to get there early (even earlier with a new attraction). With the new hotel that adds to the mix for early entry but seriously did you really think you all were the only ones with this great idea:rotfl2: So did you think you were going to be the only ones there:rolleyes2. No one is paying prime rates to stay on site to sleep in! Yes, I am being silly but considering the horrible mess when WW opened I think this is a great improvement! I think they should open these major additions in off season so all the bugs are out when prime time hits! Just a thought. Have fun I am hoping to be in the mess in a couple of weeks.

Actually, one of the things I like best about staying onsite @ Universal IS the ability to sleep in and still be able to enjoy FOTL on most of the attractions. :goodvibes Not by choice but when home I wake up most days @ 5 am:crazy2:.

I have only 'enjoyed' the early entry perc twice. Both times for HP, once after it 1st opened & this past January when we had family with us who insisted (fyi it was slow & there was no need).

I expect things to still be a zoo when we visit in October, will take our chances later in the day since the focus of our visit is HHN.

jmho but it'd be nice if they would arbitrarily award onsite guests a one-time assigned FP time for the new attraction. They could easily sell a special HP express pass ticket enhancement, unsure why they haven't tapped that goldmine.
