Over the weekend, my fiance and I decided that we want to upgrade from an Escape to a Wishes wedding--- and we're less than a year out. I called my consultant at 10am and she has yet to get back to me!!! I called and talked to an assistant, and she told me that she was in appointments, and she would get back to me "today or tomorrow."

I'm a nervous wreck over someone taking my slot! I can't wait until tomorrow! Grrrrrrrrr!

Ok, just take a deep breath...it'll all work out fine, I promise! Unfortunately everybody that works there is usually a little slow at getting back to people because they are just so busy. Just have a little patience, I know it's hard, I was in your shoes when we were trying to get our date booked. Don't worry though!

I was the same way when I switched from escape to wishes. It took a day for my sales consultant to get back to me. I already had an escape planner but you'll have to be sent back to a sales person to make the contract changes. Then you may also be a assigned a new planner.

Give them a chance, you're upgrading so I'm sure someone will get back to you soon. They don't want to lose out on making more money lol.

Yeah, yeah, I'm attempting to be sensible. I've just been a nervous wreck all day because I have my heart set on our venues and now it looks like I'll just be moping around all night! I'm going to send our consultant an email later tonight too. Because I've officially become the crazy girl who waits by the phone begging for her boyfriend (or, in this case, Disney) to call.

Isn't it the 'sales consultant' that books your dates for things? I think they all have to go through Kristi Davis...? before they are approved. We are currently in the process of changing our wedding date and we were only less than four months from the wedding date and had to switch back to Kristi from our planner so she can re-set our date...So, I'm sure if you make sure to send an email to your planner, your planners assistant and anyone else in charge of scheduling your date (Kristi and her assistant), they will get the message - Kristi always reads my emails and looks into things for me without even responding yet...then she will call me a few days later and say 'I checked on it when I got your email...etc' - So, jut be calm and have a 'backup' date planned JUST IN CASE! good luck!

I think for you Kristi is your contact because you are so close to your date and pushing back your wedding date. When I switched from Escape to Wishes it was a simple contract change through my sales consultant. We were 10 months away from the wedding when we made the switch. My Escape planner at the time transferred me to my sales consultant, Stacey, and she took down the new info and I had my Wishes contract emailed to me the next day. It was very simple!

Because it always happens like that my planner would always call me when I was at work and as a teacher I can't just pick up my phone whenever I want, lol.
