Do you own an iron?

I don't know if everyone my age has one but the majority do.

Our iron isn't a fancy one and we have 3: 2 work 1 doesn't....we should probably throw away the one that doesn't lol. The two working irons are split up between our house and my husband's apartment in LA at the moment. When he comes back home for good we'll just use the other iron as our back up/main one when the other one stops working.

I have an iron and definitely use it at least twice a week. We have a table top ironing board, but I’d prefer a full sized one. I even use the iron/ironing board in hotels, but always put a clean towel between my clothes and the iron at hotels. I learned the hard way when something transferred from the iron to my clothes at one hotel.
When we we’re first married, we rented a little house. There was an old, built-in ironing board in the kitchen. It was behind what looked like a cupboard door. I loved it!

Yes. I use it about once a month to iron my husband's dress shirts and slacks that he wears to work every day. I confess though that ironing is my least favorite thing ever, so I tend to wait until a considerable "to iron" backlog piles up before I do it... Fortunately he has a lot of dress clothes so he doesn't run out!

I have one, but rarely use it. DH and I both dress casually for work so it only gets used for weddings, funerals, odd craft projects and things like that. Last time I used it was to iron DD’s graduation gown in June.

I own one but I couldn’t tell you where it is. I admit I have used my heat press (for making T-shirts) to get wrinkles out before.

We have an iron and use it multiple times a week. We immediately "snap and hang" wet clothes on the line, but they still have wrinkles (even if they're supposedly wrinkle-free). I also need an iron to put labels in my kid's clothes and we do crafts (t-shirts with iron-ons...that autumn leaf craft where you put leaves between wax papers and iron them...)

Yes, we own an iron and an ironing board. And they get used several times a week. DH insists on ironing his own clothes (I know. I know. I'm so blessed!). I use it to press a few things, but mainly I use it for crafts until I give up and buy a heat press.

I iron weekly, I can't stand wrinkly clothing. I also HATE ironing lol. My ironing board is built in hanging on the wall in my laundry room.

Yes. It's used about three or four times a year.

Same for us. I personally haven't ironed anything in about 30 years. I feign ignorance when I need something ironed, just like DW pretends she doesn't know how to pump gas when we're not in New Jersey.

Yup I iron my clothes. Can’t stand wearing or seeing my family wear clothes that are wrinkled. Even on vacation the iron comes out bc everything wrinkles terribly in suitcases. On vacation Everyone knows before bed give me your outfit so we are rushing in the morning!! Yeah I guess I’m that mom! 😜

Yes but I don’t use it. My husband will use it occasionally on his dress shirts but as far as I’m concerned if the wrinkle doesn’t come out with the dryer then it isn’t coming out 😂

Yes. I have one buried at the bottom of my linen closet.
At least I know where it is in case I get a sudden desire for crisp, smooth clothing. Lol.

Have one but haven't used it in years. Anything that needs an iron goes to the cleaners. It's not much.

I dont own one, but I remember when I was a little kid my mom would be ironing and I wanted to try it, so she let me iron a towel

Yes I own an iron, I try to keep using it to a minimum. I would rather throw stuff in the dryer along with something damp to try "iron" it.
