okay, I am almost 34 and I HATE to admit this.....

"One Time" by the Biebster (Justin Bieber). There's something about the way the song is composed that swell my heart when the bridge comes on ("She makes me happy. I know where I'll be, right by her side, 'cause she is the one") Something about a little 13 year old (or however old he was when he recorded that) singing his little heart out and full of innocence singing about puppy love, just makes my heart swell. It's on my workout mix.

Sometimes I can hate a song by it's lyrics, but love it because of the composition or meledy. Many rap songs come to mind in this penomenoa (sp?)

Me too. Reminds me of the total wonder that is in DS's and DD's eyes every day, and how blessed I am to have DW as my soul mate. Helps to keep me young at heart by living life through the kids for the 2nd time. When all that matters is the beauty of the day or the next baseball game, without being tainted by bank bailouts, bill payments, or stuff that just really doesn't matter all that much.
