what's the meaning or the reason behind them?
Matilda - 2 words: Heath Ledger. Matilda Rose Ledger is such an adorable little girl and I instantly fell in love with the name.
James - There's no real reason behind this one. I just like it, and it's not tricky to pronounce or anything.
Landon - Travis Barker's son is Landon, and again, an adorable kid. Also, Landon from A Walk to Remember was a great character. It's one of my favorite books and movies.
Tristan - Tristan and Isolde is one of my favorite movies.
Noah - The Notebook anyone? I rest my case.![]()
Luke - Just because I don't like Lucas. And I got Lucas from One Tree Hill.
boys;
atom - it just is cool. the drummer to angels & airwaves is named atom (but its not REALLY his name..) not really anything to do with it though.
GIRL:
Cora = I LOVE that name. I fell in love with it after discovering that in Titanic, the little girl who dances with Jack is named Cora! Downside=there's a crepe restaurant I always go to called Cora's, so if I name her that, people might think she's named after the crepe lady lol. But I LOVE it. It's pretty classic and I've never met anyone with that name, so it's a classic name but unique.
Rose = IF you know me, then you know it's obv. Rose from Titanic. lol
Edith = Another classic, but uncommon (now) name. And I love Edith Piaf.
Isla = I just really love the name
Lela = I had an aunt named Linda that died of cancer before I was bord, and everyone called her Lela, and whenever I heard people talking about aunt Lela I always thought it was such a gorgeous name.
BOYS
Noah = always have loved the name, the notebook helped out a lot too in this decision.
Liam = MY great grampa is named William, but I think that's too formal, I just like Liam
Jacob = NOTHING TO DO WITH TWILIGHT. I probably won't even name my kid that anymore, because I fear my children will grow up surrounded by Jacobs & Edwards & Bellas & whoever else is in twilight lol
There is gonna be a entire generation of Bella's, Jacobs, and Edwards xD
Cora is a beautiful name. Unfortunately, here we have a breakfast and lunch joint named Cora's too. Wth is up with that being a restaurant name?
It's prob the same chain.
Breakfast place that has crepe's & fruit smoothies & omlettes & such?
Lots of roosters & the logo is a smiley face sun?
alaska means "that which makes the waves break" and how much more heroic and empowering can you get? really?
