Oh, and for any men answering this question, just ommit the sexy high heel part. Or at least keep it to yourself. If your a guy and you've got sexy high heels in your closet I don't wanna know about it!

I've put away the "summer shoes" and brough out the "winter shoes"...
it's quite scary.
i'd say I have close to 40 pairs of shoes scattered around this house.(that includes flip flops/winter boots/hiking boots/everything)

If you stepped in my closet, you would probably think you walked into store.
SO and I share a walk-in closet, we probably have about 40+ pairs of shoes, 10+ pair of black heels, 6 pair of flip flops. But you would probably think you walked into a store because of all our clothes and the organization of the "jean shelves". I love my jeans and I have 30 pair of jeans and SO has about the same number, they are all nicely folded like they are at the gap store. (Our jeans are not from gap)

I have close to 100 pairs, maybe more-- and this is after donating about 25 pairs to Goodwill over th summer. And probably over 1/2 are black. DH thinks I have a problem.

I don't have a walk in closet, but I have a fairly large closet, and I can't fit another pair of shoes in there. That doesn't mean I can't keep trying though!

Okay I had to go and count mine.

I have 47 pairs that I could find but more than half of those are flip-flops or summer sandals of some sort, from living in CA.

Kaylajr: I like to be barefoot all the time too, so when I have to wear something it's usually a flip-flop. Of course that doesn't work too well now when it's 20-something degrees out and snowy.

Shoes are one of my obsessions! Between my boots, running shoes, high heels, regular "fun" shoes, I have about 75 pairs in my closet right now. All of my flip flops and sandals (summer shoes) have been stored away. I love shoes!

I'm not a big shoe buyer. Well, my feet are kind of big but I don't buy a large quantity.

If it weren't for work, I'd just have 2 pairs of sneakers, and three pairs of ankle high boots for winter (brown, black, and waterproof.) Because I usually wear dresses at work, I have a pair of black flats, a pair of blue flats, a pair of brown flats, and a pair of pink flats. One pair of black high heels, one pair of blue high heels. So, I guess 11 all together.

DH says I'm just not very girly when it comes to shoes. I only buy new ones when an old pair needs to be replaced--then I throw the old ones out immediately.

The wife has around 75 pairs in our closet-no flip flops though-she hates those.

I have around 15.

Things were cleaned out over the summer-no shoes have been bought here in over 3 months!!

3 of my 15 pairs are still in the box with tags since I buy my tennis shoes at Kohl's during their 70% off the markdown prices sales. $9.00 for $90.00 shoes is good, so I buy when I can. Why pay $90.00 for shoes?

I have 3 in my closet, the others are everywhere else, front door, back door, hall closet, work. DD12 wears the same size and I think she has about 4-5 of mine in her closet.

One pair of casual brown leather (worn most often, either with jeans or casual skirts), one pair of casual black leather (same style), one pair of running shoes, one pair of Tevas, one pair of hiking boots (wearing them today), one pair of snow boots, and a couple of pairs of summer sandals. I'm not a shoe person, and I don't dress up. If I did have to dress up for some unknown reason, I'd have to go buy a pair of dressy shoes.
