So I went to Home Depot...

When in May? My b-day is in May too and I may be there then! :)

His birthday is on the 7th...So I hoping for the 7th-10th. Depends on when he can get off work :-) My boss is pretty flexible so no worries here! What about you?

OOh...I'm excited I'm not the only nut who plans 6 months in advance (yes, exactly 6 months from today!!) :cool1:

Aww man.....mine is late, on the 25th so this years it's on Memorial Day. I am hoping to make a quick trip down for a couple days. I was hoping we would be there close enough to say "HEY DISER OVER HERE" LOL

You inspired me and I went tonight too! I have never looked before. I didnt realize they were little stickers

Are they little stickers? Some of the descriptions i've read made it sound like they were stickers but others made it sound like they weren't. I got some awhile ago and tried to peel it off like a sticker but no sticky was there. Now I'm confused. :confused3 I'll have to have another look at mine. I actually ended up making my own LGMH on the computer but i couldn't resist getting some at home depot while i was there so now I have a couple of them that are just waiting for some sort of creative use.

They looked liked a sticker but to be honest, I didnt pull it apart.lol. Im to lazy to go get them outta the car right now to be certain. :surfweb: I will have to look tomorrow at it better. What do you do with them though?

I looked at mine again and if they are stickers I sure can't get it to peal off the backing. :confused3 So either I'm just completely incapable of doing it or they aren't actually stickers. Too bad because they would make really fun stickers.

As I mentioned before, i made my own on the computer but what i did was design it how i wanted on the computer (i put my screen name on it and did a different design for the back) and then i printed out 2 sides that i glued together. Then i laminated it and cut around it and added a little chain so i could hang it from my bag. So with the "official" home depot versions I know people usually take the mickey head off the beige rectangle and glue 2 of them together and they might write something on it (screen name or "Do you DIS?") and then add string and beads to it or whatever decorations they like. I also took scrapbooking paper and cut out LGMHs (well, they aren't quite lime color but close enough i think) and hung them from ribbons and made a thing i will stick on the stroller to help identify which one is ours.

I don't have a picture of the stroller one right now but here's my LGMH (front and back):

I made 2 LGMH's already. I need to go back to Home Depot and get enough to make 4 more.

For mine, I just cut around the head, and placed one on top of the other and used clear packing tape over the top of them. From there, I left about 1/4" between the tape top and the head. That way it is protected a bit more and won't come apart so easily.

Then I used a hole punch (very hard to do - next time I will punch BEFORE I use the tape to laminate, and then go over the tape area again when all is done with the hole punch.

Then, for my finishing touch, I put a My Little Pony sticker (I collect them) on the top of my LGMH. And then attached it to my Bagallini with a small cable zip tie.

The completed project :

They aren't stickers, they sort of look like it but they aren't. I've got laminating sheets so I'll cut 2 out, put them back to back and go from there. :)

Okay, so they aren't stickers. Now I can stop trying to peel them off! :rotfl: I figured they weren't but then when the subject of stickers came up again I wasn't sure! lol

Also, i would recommend gluing them together first before using the laminating sheets because the sheets don't seem to stick together as close to the edge as i think regular laminating does. Unless you don't mind having a big border of the laminating stuff, then it would work okay. I used some scrapbooking glue and then i put it under some heavy books for an hour or so to keep it flat.

LOL I have been trying so hard to peel these things apart! I have given in to the fact they are not stickers. :lmao:

Now I will have to start putting them together! I have less than two weeks to do this woo hoo

Thanks, I actually have some I did up last year that worked great. Not sure what style of laminaters I got but I think I did end up taping or gluing the heads together first. :)
