So after seeing so many beautiful pictures of people's Dessert Parties, I think I am going to do it. After some good input from you fellow DISers, I think I may have come up with a solution to my tight budget. I learned that if you have your reception at EPCOT that they charge you a location fee for the reception location, but then waive the DP location fee. AND I found out Living Seas has a minimum of only $3500 for food and beverages. At the Boardwalk Ballroom which is where we were originally going to do the reception it is $100 per person. We have 58 definite guests and possibly going all the way up to 70. I think it might be cheaper (depending what food we choose for the reception and what desserts we choose) to do Living Seas and a DP.

Now to finally cut to the chase, anyone have any pictures of Living Seas so I can see what the layout is and the decor looks like.

you can see lss pics in my tr (link in sig). just remember that with the theme park location, you'll be paying for transportation. with 58 people, you'll need 2 buses, so don't forget to include that in your budget!

Also, if your LSS reception starts after 2pm, it will still be $100 per person minimum in combination with the $3500 food & beverage min, but at least your dessert party food will count toward it! :thumbsup2
