because I was blurting out randomly wierd things. Well, turns out this was a side effect of the drug that my counselour didn't know about at first. But, she did some research and decided I should switch to something else.

Unfortunately, the next appt. I could get with the doctor is in Oct.

Well, I couldn't go around blurting out this stuff any longer, (seriously, it almost got me in trouble a few times!!)

So, I stopped, cold turkey, which was not the smartest thing in the world. In addition to the depression coming back, I've been lightheaded, dizzy, and slow of breathe. So, I went to the doctors today to check my blood pressure, and it turns out it's way lower then normal. I asked the nurse if I was gonna die though, and she said no, probably not, so I figured I'd just wait til Oct for my appointment then.

Note to self....from now on see the doctor BEFORE you stop taking the crazy pills...

Definitely!!! When you take Prozac, you actually change the brain chemistry. When you abruptly stop it, you are abruptly altering the chemicals in your brain. Hopefully you will feel better in a few days.

You need to drop the dosage slowly if you want to get off. I would contact the doctor who prescribed it now to give you direction.

Absolutely!! I did the same thing once and the Dr. yelled at me! You really need to be weened off the meds slowly....
